Quick show up for the quote, was able to schedule the work to be done while I was traveling. No problem leaving a key or such like. Was very happy with the work and was able to coordinate payment online since I was away at the time. Very accomodating, moved all the furniture and moved it all back again.

Roche Painting was excellent from start to finish. He followed up with me promptly and provided estimates in a timely fashion, as promised. He was accomodating to my schedule. Painters were punctual and the workmanship was fantastic. Price was reasonable given the quality of the work. I would highly recommend this company and intend to use them for future work.

Excellent experience from start to finish; we had a large room that needed painting and had an estimate done. When the estimate was completed, we were a little surprised at the expected cost (but weren't aware of just how large the scope of their work was). Painters arrived on time, did an excellent job, and even came back at a later date to take care of some extra trim work.

I'm happy with the job that Aarons's worker did. He got two rooms painted in eight hours. He even fixed the corner that had moisture damaged plaster. I didn't expect that.

Aaron was prompt in showing up to review the job. The written estimate (by mail) was delayed but the work was performed on time on within the scheduled amount of time anticipated and within on estimate. The room was nicely cleaned up and left neat. My room looks great.

I found Aaron on Angies List at first, although after talking to several people at work found out everyone knew him through someone or he had worked for them sometime in the past since he's from this area. You can't miss him with his Aaron Roche Painting mobile! After a few references, I decided to hire Aaron to paint my badly needed exterior of my house. He sent a crew in to power wash first, they did a great job...it was a cold day but they were still there! It needed to warm up a bit, which it did the weeks around Thanksgiving and he got his crew of 3-4 guys every day out for about 5-6 days. They did a beautiful job and were very patient even when I told them after they were done painting the whole front/sides that I hated the color...of the house AND the garage/doors/shutters. A couple trips to Sherwin Williams and I found the colors I loved. They moved forward, repainted (brushed and sprayed) the whole house again along with the shutters, doors and trim....I LOVE it. Aaron and his crew were extremely professional, super friendly, and were very caring about how everything looked, how I was with the project and kept in constant communication throughout the project. I would absolutely use them again and would refert them to anyone who needed it!

To start, Aaron Roche's quote was considerably less than the other two contractors we contacted for the same job. He was also willing to work us in as weather permitted due to our demanding relocation/moving schedule. That was a huge plus for us. The job took place over a couple of weeks instead of 3-4 days in a row, but that met our needs perfectly. He really seemed to understand what we were trying to accomplish to get our home ready to list for sale. Furthermore, Aaron kept in constant contact via email letting us know when he'd have the crew back out for the next step. This was crucial since it was late November and we'd already winterized our outside spigots and they needed to be turned back on for the painters before we left town for house hunting.
Our porch, trim and soffits were badly needing new paint. There was a lot of missing paint and mildew. Furthermore, the soffits are old, fancy decorative things and the house is very tall. They scraped, scuff sanded, primed and painted with two coats of Sherwin Williams Resilience which is a paint that will cure even in moderately cold temperatures. And these guys were painting on some days that didn't get warmer than 45 degrees. Everything looked great when they were done. Even the clean up was good. My new red door is beautiful, just in time for the holidays and listing the house for sale.
At the final walk-around, we missed a small area they forgot under the front eaves. My husband noticed it a few days later. I showed it to Aaron when he came out to give us a quote for interior painting. He apologized and said he'd get it fixed for us. The next day he had one of his guys out here to paint the spot they missed. Fantastic service. Just make sure the guys put your house numbers back up in the right order, especially if you have a furnace maintenance guy sitting outside in his van thinking he's at the wrong address. :-)

My wife and I were in the process of selling our house and down-sizing into the apartment. The sale was not definite until a very short time prior to the settlement date, and we were very pressed to arrange many things quickly. I called several painting companies, seeking their services in less than a week. Understandably they all had commitments several weeks ahead. But Aaron Roche went the extra mile, offering to have his people work overtime on nights and the weekend to complete the work ahead of the arrival of the our movers.

The person who came down did a great job. He showed up when he was supposed to. He has two helpers with him and they were very professional. They even did two extra jobs that weren't in the quote. My overall experience with them was excellent. They were very responsive. They replied immediately to any emails I sent.

"First off I would like to defend myself against your negatice comments, yes you are correct the job was quoted for 1-2 days but never specified how many guys I was going to put on the job. Two guys worked on the job for 5.5 hours each which totals 11 hours, alomost 1.5 days. I never came up with excuses I merely gave you the facts, we had agreed upon the price of $1,000 which you signed a contract for and gave a deposit, clearly you knew what the job was going to cost, nothing more nothing less. The job was quoted for 1 coat of stain to be back brushed into the fence, during the project it was 100 degrees outside and very sunny, the back brushing was leaving marks. To make up for not back brushing my guys sprayed a second coat on the fence and also sprayed 1 coat on a section you had completed yourself which wasn't included in any aspect of the job. Not once did you ever bring up a qaulity issue, in fact you said the fenced looked great, your complaint one week later was all about timing and money, and because the project got completed faster than you thought, you requested a 60% return on the money paid. I am sorry but I was not going to refund money on a job that there was no qaulity issue or damages done, especially when there was a written agreement on a specified amount of money. I would just like any future Angie's list customers to review our other reviews, clearly by reading our other reviews you will see that we have a very good standing with are customers and in fact alot of repeat business from them. This customer merely wanted to take advantage of my company and better his finacial situation from this project. And on top of that made threats that if I didn't give into his demands he was going to post a negative review about us on Angie's List. Our prices are fairly based on the work being completed, this individual obviously felt our price was good enough prior to completing the job since he decided to contract the project with us after he had gotten multiple estimates. All I ask of any perspective Angie's List customers is to look at this customers review and see it for what it is. Thank You Aaron Roche"

I was very pleased with the process from beginning to end. Estimate was fair. Aaron was professional, courteous and responsive...even found a mason to do some chimney repair work for me. Provided me with some good color choice suggestions. Crew arrived as scheduled/on-time. Job was completed as scheduled/on-time. They were very neat. No over-spraying. No trash left behind. Painting crew was also professional, helpful and courteous.

The entire project took 3 days. The workers showed up on time every day and were very professional and friendly. Aaron was on-site every day and checked in with me about any issues. Before the project began Aaron communicated with me via email to finalize the paint colors and grade of paint, and was very responsive to my requests. I was very pleased with their exceptional work, concern for detail, and maybe most importantly, their cleanup. I always prefer supporting local contractors and in our dealings with Aaron, I am MORE than happy to positively recommend him and his team.

I found Roche painting through Angie's list and we requested a proposal from them to paint 16 occupied apartments. The price was very competitive and we liked what we had read about them so we decided to hire them. We have 270 apartments and every year we paint a certain number of them. We have used many painting contractors in the last 30 years we feel that Roche painting is one of the best. We found Aaron to be very personable and very easy to work with. He was on the job with his crew and we found all of them to be very pleasant, polite and courteous to our tenant which is a very important aspect for us with any contractor we hire. As for the quality of the work, we were very pleased. The work was done professionally in a timely manner and with very good results. In some apartments, the popcorn ceilings needed to be painted. We have had a lot of problems with these ceilings over the years when they were painted. Aaron suggested spraying them which I was hesitant about because these are occupied apartments full of furniture. Aaron convinced me that they have done this many times and never had a problem with overspray on anything. I agreed to let him spray the ceilings and he was good to his word. The ceilings came out great, with little or no problems and there were not any problems with any overspray. I think that in itself shows that Aaron and his crew know what they are doing and they do it well! This job required Aaron and his crew to move all of the tenant’s furniture to the center of the room when painting. In an effort to try to be sure that put the tenants' furniture back as closely as possible to its original location, they took pictures of the room prior to moving everything which we thought was a great idea! In summary the quality of their work was great, their staff, professional and courteous, their price reasonable. We will definitely consider them for our painting schedule next year and we are actually using them to paint some empty apartments for us to help our staff out.

Aaron and his crew did an awesome job in our 100+ year-old home. We had ceiling damage from a leaking roof, and Aaron came up with an affordable way to repair the damage. We also had painting done in the interior of the home and his crew did a beautiful job! They were on time every day and kept the work contained so as not to mess up the entire house. Everything was cleaned up when they were finished. We are very happy with the service Aaron and his crew provided and are planning on hiring Roche Painting for additional repairs in our home.

I contacted Roche Painting for an estimate and the owner Aaron called me back within 24 hours to set up a time to look at our house. He emailed me within a couple days with an estimate, which my husband and i agreed was a fair and good price. (we had 3 other estimates, one came in around the same price but we didn't get it for 3 weeks after they had been to our house.)
We hired Aaron and his crew to do the work, and they ALWAYS showed up on time when they said they would be here. We paid extra to have our front porch railing stripped and primed before painting, and it was well worth it - (It was not an easy job, our house is nearly 100 years old and the rails had peeled and chipped paint that had been painted over who knows how many times) - the railing looks better than i ever expected! The crew made sure to lay out drop cloths where needed and cleaned up after every work day. Aaron and his guys had to work around the rainy days but always made sure to let me know when they would be here. the house looks great, the deck turned out beautiful and we couldn't be happier. Besides the professional painting job done by Roche Painting, i can't say enough how nice it is to have a company return calls in a timely manner and show up when they say they will. Three person crew arrived timely. All nice and personable. All plaster areas were painted but not textured; includes ceiling and walls. Textured ceiling and walls have flat areas where remainder is all textured. This includes large areas where water damaged ceiling and walls were repaired. Could have at least used a heavy nap roller. Witnessed one coat and touch-up. Did not paint two coats of paint. Can see white speckled background on walls from existing paint. Job was rushed. Was supposed to take two days but completed in one. Three plaster areas were painted where plaster had shrunk causing sunked/indentation in walls. Although work was completed in day one, a worker came back second day to replaster and paint aforementioned areas. Attempted to texture one and two square foot areas but rather than bring a stiff brush, borrowed my wisk brush. Overt indentation of texture.
Because we were not using plywood on the bottom of the wainscoating wall, chair rail height or transition line should have been less that 48". They made the transition line 48". Line made was not straight/level. Covered transition line with chair-rail (also my original intent).
Paint and plaster on garage floor after job. Since it was already hardened, broom sweeping...as executed by crew and then owner, ineffective. Plaster found on tool cabinet...supposedly covered with tarp.

"I am surprised by your review about us, I am sorry that we were not able to please you with our quality. But I'm sure if you would have discussed some of these concerns with me Thursday when I picked up the gear we would have addressed them for you. The only concern you brought up Thursday to me was the fact that the patch work on the front inside wall didn't have enough texture and the patch needed another coat. Not once did you mention about only one coat being done on the walls, which I was unaware of. I will be more than happy to send someone over to paint a second coat on the walls for you, knowing that would have been helpful when we talked Thursday since I sent someone over there to correct the patching on the front wall that following day. Also if you had a specific height requirement for the accent line perhaps you should have addressed that with me, when I was on the estimate, you gave a general area as to where you would like the line to be drawn. Another thing I would like to address is the pricing and the job description. The job was written up by the insurance company for roughly $1,335 which consisted of the same flat white paint being used on ceiling and walls, also for that price the only area that was going to be patched was the ceiling where the water damage was. Now we charged you $1,200 for the project, on top of that you had the ceiling fixed, 3 large holes on the front wall, gray egg-shell paint for the walls with a dark gray accent on the lower half of the front wall, also the removal of a black oil stain from the one wall, not to mention the additional nail holes and patch work that was done. I'm not sure how we got a B price for less money than the insurance adjusted gave you for the project, on top of the fact we did the extras listed above which weren't covered by the insurance price. Like I said in the beginning of the paragraph I wish you would have spoke to me about the concerns so I could have addressed them for you. Please feel free to contact me to schedule the second coat on the walls. Thanks Aaron Roche"

Everything from the estimate, communication, painting, and follow-up were done in a timely and professional manner. Aaron was wonderful to work with. He came out promptly to give the estimate and was able to fit us in. Even though it wasn't a large job, he didn't make us feel that it wasn't worth his time. We just had the staircase remodeled and Aaron and his employee were very careful to properly cover the area and protect it. They were fast, efficient and polite. I will definitely call them again when I need painting done.
