We recently hired Roche Painting to so some interior painting in our house. From our first contact with Aaron, the owner, through the painting, the finished results and the followup, we were extremely satisfied. Aaron and his employees are a top notch professional group of people. Aaron responds to phone calls and emails promptly. He oversees the job from start to finish. His painters are experienced, personable and very neat. We were so pleased with the results of this work that we subsequently have engaged Roched Painting to paint the exterior of our house this spring.

This company should be at the top of your list if you're looking for a painter. Aaron responded quickly to my request for information and we made an appointment for the next day. He arrived promptly, we explained what we wanted, and he made excellent suggestions. We received an estimate a couple of days later, as promised. We scheduled the job for February 5.
Aaron and his two workmen were consummate professionals. They were prompt, careful of the work space, did a beautiful job, cleaned up thoroughly. We love the finished product and would use them again in a heartbeat.

The painter was very good but when we called the manager for a quote on more work we were told they were booked up and we didn't get a quote nor a estimate on when they would be available

"First off I would like to apologize for not getting back to you in a timely manor. Apparently there must have been some miss communication between the job site manager and you the customer. I thought the quote you wanted to get was for the staircase work which our project manager was suppose to discuss with you.. The work you wanted to complete by having the carpet removed and the staircase treads exposed was something that really wasn't going to work on your home. There were two issues as to why this wasn't going to have the desired look that you wanted. First the way your home was built they had not installed any staircase stringers along the sides of the staircase. The drywall was installed right on top of the staircase tread which was roughly cut around each step leaving a large gap that the carpet covered. Even if we would have patch this portion of the wall the area would constantly crack open and look rough since there is a lot of movement with staircases. Secondly the actual staircase treads were not a stain grade oak tread, they were a rough cut pine tread which is not the type of tread that would be used if you were trying to have stained exposed treads. As I mentioned before our project manager should have addressed this with you when he was working on your home. I instructed him to go over these details with you and let you know why what you were looking to have completed wasn't a really good option that we felt comfortable to complete. The job would have defiantly had issues that wouldn't have been able to get resolved. Unless the entire staircase was removed and we installed a new staircase that had stringers attached to it along with nice oak stair treads. If there was any other work that you wanted to get a quote on, I don't recall hearing about it which very well could be my mistake and for that I apologize. The only thing I remember that you had mentioned power washing your home in the future since I had already itemized that price on the original estimate."

Was contacted immediately following request for estimate, came out same day. Scheduled painting promptly for the following week.
Painters were on time, very friendly and professional, worked quickly and thoroughly. Asked if it was OK for them to work straight through and get job done in one day which was super convenient for me.
Everything was cleaned up and furniture and fixtures were returned to proper placement.
Paint job was excellent, was definitely not a job I was prepared to do myself, and well worth the money to have it done professionally.

Aaron Roche responded to my request for a painting estimate in the same day. Had a quote in my hands in about 36 hrs. After acceptance of the quote, the two man crew came over and discussed the job with me. They were the best - great communicators, professional appearance, professional workmanship and thorough. The house looks great - they took great care in selecting the correct colors and used quality Sherman Williams paint on the project. Glad we discovered Roche painting - we'll have them back this winter for some interior work.

I had no dislikes about them. They were excellent. I am very critical and more pleased but I am satisfied with their service. It was above and beyond anything I expected. I have no complains. I will use them again if needed.
I got estimated from other and even though they were lower, I thought they were great. Me and my husband have recommended them to several people. I was never satisfied with other things but I am satisfied with what they did.

Totally satisfied with all aspects of the job. Provided general quote prior to seeing place, though with thorough description. Aaron's price was much lower than quote from another Angie's List provider, who was also highly rated. Paint crew were so respectful of our new home. Started and finished job on time- crucial as work completed in small time window prior to our moving in. Painted trim, walls, closets and work appears flawless. Aaron helped us with color selection. He is honest, has a strong work ethic, and is trustworthy. Crew couldn't have been more considerate.

They were prompt in calling and setting up an appointment for the estimate. Aaron was very responsive and was easy to contact by email. the amount of time to paint was underestimated by a 9hr day.

"[removed member name] thanks for your comments, sorry the job took longer than anticipated. I know that part of the reason the job took longer was because 1 of my guys eynded up painting a 3rd coat on the cabinets. This was because your husband wasn't happy that he could still see the previous painters brush marks through the new paint, since we were only scuff sanding and not stripping the cabinets there was no way to get rid of those marks. But in order to make your husband happy we painted all of the cabinets with a third coat for free just to assure him that is what he was seeing on the cabinets. Also it took my guys longer to paint the bright red trim than anticipated, all in all I'm happy to say you received a quality job which may have taken an extra day but cost you nothing extra in terms of expense."

We were happy with them. Beyond that, I just do not know about the others. They were great. It was early October of this year, 2013. It was over $4000, it was more like $4200. I want to say it was close to 1200 square feet or a little more. Their company was excellent. They are prompt, on time, on budget, their list to get to miss expert work than we have plus the walls than you held it take care of those, and easy to work with. They are a little bit more than some but I think they get better service.

The guy came back but was not able to do touch ups on part of the house. He needed another person and a taller ladder. He is supposed to return this week to complete the work. The guys did a very good job. They were mainly three here and sometimes five. They did a very good job and even my neighbors complimented the work. The price was 50% less than anyone else I called for the exact same job.

They arrived right on time and worked hard the entire time. Very professional and courteous. There were a couple of miscommunications about what work and prep was to be done, but that all got resolved quickly and easily. At the end of the day, quality was very good but a little short of excellent. Some of that could just be the age and condition of the windows themselves.
We are very pleased with the result, with the workers, and with the company. We definitely recommend them!

As retirees watching our pennies, my wife and I had originally planned to do the entire job ourselves but she convinced me to have the wallpaper stripping done professionally and just do the painting ourselves... am I glad I listened to her! In May, Aaron gave us a prompt and fair quote to which we agreed. Although we set up a date in June, he later called and said they could fit us in on May 30-31, if we were available. We were pleased to get it started early and gave the OK. His crew worked for one afternoon and the following morning and did a great job. Our very old vinyl wallpaper was totally removed; this was messy because the vinyl comes off easily but the backing stays on the walls, The patching and stain coverage were completed and then all surfaces prepared for us and our paint rollers. The crew was polite, professional and hard working and totally cleaned up when they were finished each day. Aaron stopped by both days to check on their progress and confirm our satisfaction. In retrospect, I'm so glad we went this route; yes, we could have done it ourselves but not as quickly or efficiently as Roche did the job. I'd use them again.

Everything went well, except that we were painting during the rainiest week which caused some delays, such that the work was finished on July 4 th even though it was a holiday. This is the second time that I have used the services of Roche Painting. The first time was in 2011 when we had just moved into the house and the exterior of the house was looking filthy and the deck looked old. Aaron power washed the house until we could afford to paint it. He also power washed the deck and stained it, that bought us some years before we have to replace it. We have discussed another project, painting the interior as soon as some renovations have been completed.

The job went well despite the bad luck with rainy weather. What was to be a 4 - 5 day project turned into over 2 weeks. The painters did show up on the days it was not raining.
Selecting the colors for the house and shutters was a pain staking task for us. What we thought was a true rich grey dried much lighter then we expected. The shutters were the next victim and also were not quite as we had pictured. The color looked so different in various lightings and the surroundings contributed to the shading. Not the painters fault and Aaron would have allowed us to make a change, at a cost to us so we opted to stay with the original. This was so over thought and to have it fall short of the "Wow factor" was a disappointment at first. I have painted a wood bench to match and added some personal touches and with the job now finished I have come to love the new look.
I am a bit of a perfectionist to say the least. Scott was wonderful and extremely homeowner friendly as well as Frank. They painted like professionals and their work was up to my high standards. However one contractor's work was sub par and with it being in a very visible spot it needed to be addressed. Aaron himself came out to paint and rectify the situation. I appreciated that hand ons solution.
All the neighbors comment on the new look with adjectives such as.....classy, clean, modern and my favorite....."updated". That is exactly what i wanted for this ole house of ours.
I would highly recommend Aaron Roche to anyone in need of a quaility painting contractor.

We chose Roche Painting to paint our townhouse after getting competitive bids. Aaron Roche personally did the estimate and led his team of painters performing some of the work himself. They were one time, professional, and adjusted easily to work order changes during the work. It took 2-3 days to complete the work and the finished job looks great. We're very pleased with this company and would recommend them to anyone.

Aaron responded to my request for an estimate within a day. We met at the property and discussed the project. He was very personable and easy to deal with yet professional in every way. He even helped with color and finish choices. The next day we received the estimate which we accepted and scheduled the date for the work to begin. His crew arrived on time and worked for two full days to complete the work. There was no reluctance with giving Aaron access to our home. It was like having a family friend doing the work for us.As for the quality of the workmanship,it could not have been better. It was perfect. The entire crew were friendly and genuinely nice guys. I would highly recommend this company for your painting needs. Oh yeah Aaron even came out a day later to rehang the blinds. Great businessman. Great company.
