About us

Established in 1998, Jim Zane Carpentry is one of Lehigh Valley's premier carpentry companies, specializing in custom hardwood and tile flooring. Being a member of the National Wood Flooring Association gives us access to the best traditional and new technology and materials. Our experience includes all phases of hardwood floor installation from subfloor preparation to after installation maintenence and everything else in between. We do custom designs, installations and give free estimates. We are on time and take pride in scheduling our jobs with the home owner's life situation in mind. The value of our work ensures the customer receives the best in workmanship to guarantee future satisfaction. We think of our work as artistry as can be seen by pictures of our jobs. We pride ourself in seeing the customer's vision and making it happen.

The initial start of the project was delayed due to some measurement issues which was not a huge deal to me.  When the job was started the worked moved quickly and at the end of the second day it was complete.  It was late when Jim left the site so we called to say we were not happy about two issues and he was back 8 AM the next morning to make sure we were 100% happy with the work.  The work looks excellent and a massive improvement to our old foyer stairs.  
e I'd recommend him.  I typically would not mention the issues we had after a happy experience but I wanted to illustrate that Jim did come back immediately the very next morning to make sure we were happy customers.  I can tell you that isn't always the case these days and for that alon

I have used Jimmy before, and he was excellent as always. The price was excellent, too: 150 bucks for four hours of work! You can't beat that. I would recommend him to friends and family, and I will definitely be using him again.

The overall experience was excellent and our family was not disrupted by his visit. Jim removed the old planking with a minimum of noise. He informed my wife and I that he could blend in the new planks and that when complete we would not be able to tell where the repairs were done. He then installed the new flooring planks with a minimum of noise. When the job was complete Jim presented me with an invoice for the $150.00 amount agreed upon earlier. Best of all my wife and I could not tell where the repairs were done. He blended in the new planks perfectly.

I definetly would use this gentleman's services again.

Jim contacted me quickly and was at my home the next day to take measurements. After receiving the estimate, I picked out flooring and Jim scheduled (3) days for installation. Jim was on time each day, was very pleasant and professional, completed the work on time and on budget. I am extremely happy with the results, and would definitely hire him again.
