"I felt that the other outfit servicing your property were doing a good job as like me I making a living off landscaping and I know how it feels to lose a job. Also I said that the job you wanted us to do was to small ."
My yard can be some what swampy if we have had substantial rain, so Ryan held off until it dried before coming in with a skid loader on tracks which he used to remove the bushes and roots. His men then dug out any remaining roots and leveled out the areas. They took down 3 tree limbs, one small mulberry tree and even cut up & removed a large branch which was in the creek and collecting debris. They put down top soil & grass seed. They dug out a 4 X 20 foot bed around 4 azaleas and put down mulch. When they finished they cleaned up any and all debris. Would definitely use again.
Contacted R&J via e-mail thru Angie's List to set up an appointment for an estimate so I could have some yard work done and a tree planted in my yard. Spoke to Ryan several days later, explained to him what I was looking to do and set up an appointment for Thursday April 23rd between 6:30-7p.
Thursday the 23rd comes around and I get a phone call around 6p from Ryan telling me that he is not going to be able to make the appointment because he is still at a job site and would like to reschedule. That was fine, so we rescheduled for Saturday April 25th between 10-10:15a for him to come out.
Saturday the 25th comes and so does 10a, 10:30a and then finally at 10:45a I get a call from Ryan telling me that my house is not in his service area and he is not coming out to give me an estimate. If I look at the service area for this company, Delaware County is listed, that's where my location is and he never once mentioned earlier when I gave him all the information that I was not in his service area. I basically wasted a Saturday morning for nothing. I would warn people to look at other landscaping companies before making a decision. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

After wanting to get this done for years, it was the easiest process ever. Ryan responded right away when we first contacted him (found him through Angie's list), and set up a time to come and see what we wanted and give us an estimate. He offered ideas for our yard - it was great to have fresh eyes - the yard looks much cleaner now. The work was scheduled, he said it would take two days - Ryan and his crew showed up on time, worked like crazy for two days, and got everything done.
They were professional, hard-working, did exactly what we agreed on, finished on time. We're going to use Ryan again for repaving our driveway - and probably other work once we learn what else he does! I would definitely recommend him. He is honest, courteous, hard-working (I know I said that already but it's true) - and was a pleasure to work with.
We are definitely glad we found him.

my property on both occasions much, much, much better than when they arrived. He was easy to deal with, very pleasant and professional. We felt we were treated very fairly by someone who knows what they are doing and who strives to please his customers. This was only the second time we we tried to use a landscaping service as we are particular and prefer to do things ourselves. We can't praise Ryan and his team enough. We will definately use him again!
