Mike was extremely helpful in the selction of our generator . Installation began on the exact date that was promised . The installers did a superb job . They were very friendly and kept us informed during every step of the work.

Poorly. I took a day off of work so I could be home when they arrived. They then called at the end of the day asking if they could come the next day. They no showed. They came late the next day and we're not able to fix/ replace wiring for my door bell. I called and spoke to Scott to ask how they arrived at the $800 number and he could not tell me as they do not itemize their bills. I asked him how they give estimates or arrive at certain numbers and he was very vague and essentially told me to talk to the guys that came to my house. They were mysteriously unavailable/u reachable. I then wrote a letter detailing my complaint. All I heard were crickets. No response.

"In response to the above review, we would like to apologize to (member name) for any lack of communication on our behalf. But, after our second visit we left numerous unreturned messages to complete the non operational door bell system. The doorbell repair was not an easy one due to accessibility issues. We sent a proposal on May 20, 2013 to supply and install a new doorbell system at the price of $695.00. We received no response. As far as the $800.00, it was actually $665.00. The time was for emptying the closet to fix the lights and neatly placing the clothes back in the closet after the repair was made and the site was cleaned up."

This is the second time that we have used Advanced Electrical Services, and it was just as smooth as the first time. They came out right on time, and got the job done quickly and efficiently -- and at a low cost. They are wonderful electricians, and we'll definitely use them again.

I interviewed four "A" rated Angie list electricians.
The first one gave the cheapest price, and told me he'd upgrade my" 200 "amp service with a new box, etc.
Problem was, I have 150 amp service. So he was wrong on the type of service I had. I would not have known that except for
having all the other electricians come in who educated me. His price, 1400 plus permit. Dropped him.
The second one called me three times the day of his estimate with a cost that was higher and kept asking if he had the job, despite being told I was not making a decision until I interviewed all the electricians. He then called me twice the next morning while I was a work pressuring me for the job. I did not like this vibe, and I did not go with him. And he had a high price, 3000. Dropped him.
This group, Advanced Electrical Services, came in and assessed my situation. Yes, I do need to upgrade my 150 amp system and box. However, he found a place to hook up the hottub on my existing box for the above price. And I will get the upgrade later in year.
price 820 with permit for hot tub. 2000. if i get upgrade service to 200 amp with outside upgrade and new box.
Advanced Electrical Services will get my electrical jobs. Very good service, prompt and decent.
I learned that even if they are rated "A" I still have to assess them myself and get enough quotes and do research to fully understand what I need and what the going rate is.

As part of a patio project, there was existing electrical wiring to outlets, shed, and former hot tub; there was also unsafe wiring leading up to that inside the garage. Advanced Electrical came out within a few days of my initial call and quickly provided a detailed, itemized estimate. Everyone was friendly, professional, and competent.
They arrived on a rainy Monday and removed the existing, unsafe electrical and labeled everything. They returned later to put in the new receptacle and supporting wiring. Upon arrival, the electrician had me walk him through the space and my expectations of the work to be done; he then took time to assess and confirmed exact locations of wiring and receptacle with him prior to doing the work.

Scott came to our house to give us an estimate on some work. My husband dealt with him and said he was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He thought he did a thorough job. We ultimately ended up going with someone else, because of price (It wasn't a huge difference) Scott was very prompt with our proposal and was available to answer our questions. I would certainly consider them again in the future.

Two electricians showed up within the time window they said they would be here and went right to work. They even covered there shoes with protective booties so that they wouldn't dirty the carpets in the house. They had a real challenge in finding the cause of the problem because none of the circuit breakers were tripped. It took them a little over an hour to track down the issue ( a loose wire in one of the many sockets in the three rooms). They were pleasant and very professional. I would not only use this company again, but I would recommend them to my friends.

As with many previous calls to Advanced, things were perfect from start to finish. Their office staff is friendly, courteous, and immediately responsive. The company presents professionalism, from vehicles to smartly attired staff. The two electricians on this job identified the problem in less than 5 minutes. They worked quickly and our power and peace of mind were rapidly restored. I highly recommend them!

Company scheduled an appointment very quickly, next day. Service was excellent, professional, courteous (I think it was Mike). The service professional did not have some fuses so he went to a Radio Shack up the street and came back. Price rated Good simply because I am not sure it was excellent as I did not have a good basis for comparison. Nonetheless good value. I would definitely get this company again.

All the work from estimation to replacing the old breaker box was done in a professional workmanlike manner. They were on time and there were no surprises. Six months later the new panel has had no problems. I would happily have them do work in the future.

Received a call from our tenant that an outlet had basically melted early Sunday morning. Called this group and they came itching two hours ... On a Sunday and offered us a fair price. Very apply with the service.

The company is very responsive. A person came to provide an estimate, came on time and was very professional checking the required work and time. We accepted the estimate and the installatino was scheduled. Two electricians came as scheduled and were done even in a shorter time as estimated with the installation. They had to familiarize themselves with the special heater technique, but were professional and open to specific wishes and suggestions. We were very pleased with the work and would hire them again.

I found that the company have good reviews so I emailed them for this specific job needing to be done. They replied very quickly and scheduled an appointment within a week when I first emailed them. I cant remember who this person was but he came to my house within the suggested time frame. He was very nice and explained the process of what he had done with the caulking. I thought he was very professional with his job and the price is fair. I would use them again.
Update: First time I used the company in May 21012, they had to come in to recaulk the outside electric box but Vince the electrician did warn me that the wood behind the electric meter box will need to be replaced. Apparently after a few months, the wood had decided to rot some more and loosened the caulking. I called AES to come. They arrived on the dot which was 11am. The job took almost 2 hours to complete. There were two electricians. They were friendly and considerate of the surroundings when they were doing the job. They replaced with a new painted wood panel and securely recaulked the area. Also, i was given an estimated price of 300-400 and it came to be just under 300 which I thought was a fair price for the job they did. Thank you!

Vince showed up on time (Wed) and was very knowledgeable and courteous. He committed to have an estimate sent to me by late Thurs or early Friday. I called him on Sunday and let him know I did not receive the estimate. He committed to having his office send it our first thing Monday morning. I did not receive the estimate. I have made two additional calls and left voice mails to Vince with no return calls. A week later and I still have not received any calls or the estimate. I am, a customer in need of getting my pool going and no response from AES. If this is the way AES handles new customers then I will not do business with them. Unreliable.

"The customer requested a half hour ahead for estimate. We gave a half hour ahead and still waited patiently for an additional half hour on site. Customer called on Monday looking for his estimate. The estmate was emailed to the address the customer requested at 3:26pm on Monday the 21st of May. The reason for the slight delay was waiting for prices to come back from our vendors to provide the best price we can. The customer called on Tuesday and said he did not receive his proposal yet again. We confirmed his email address, (which was correct), and sent the proposal again at 11:44am on Tuesday the 22nd. We always follow up 3 days after proposals are sent to assure they were delivered and to answer any questions. That day would be Friday the 25 of May. Vince also told the customer if he did not receive the proposal in the next 30 minutes, to please call the office. The customer did not call. We are assuming maybe it went into his junk mail. Hotmail, which is his provider sometimes has these issues."
