It went great. He returned  my phone call and arrived at our house an hour later! He stretched the carpet and re-installed the lifted portion probably better than it had been before! He charged $75 (the minimum he said it would be on the phone). He was friendly and personable. He did a great job! We will contact him for future carpet needs!

I painted the basement stairs and I purchased a runner from another source.
Eric installed the carpet.
He was prompt, very courteous, cleaned up the work area afterwards.

This is an example of a business taking excellent care of a client; the entire project went well. Several years ago Eric Hench Carpet installed carpet in our living room, dining room and bedrooms. The service was outstanding and reasonably priced; unfortunately, the quality of the carpet did not meet the same standards. The problem was that the carpet stretched and became rippled in several places. Eric explained that this sometimes happens; he reinstalled the carpet in the affected areas. It stretched again; Eric reinstalled it - again! In spite of Eric's efforts the fix didn't take. When we called the third time (more than 5 years after the initial installation) Eric took the appropriate steps to get the carpet manufacturer remedy the problem. It took a bit of negotiation, but in the end our entire purchase price was refunded as a credit toward new carpet and the manufacturer paid for the labor to have it installed. Eric offers a broad selection of quality products, an outstanding work ethic, and the willingness (when necessary) to be an advocate for his customer. This is a man you can trust.
