I like that they are extremely competent and high quality. Awesome. Their bid was a little higher, but you know what it was higher quality and they were just so knowledgeable. We were just pleased with what we got.

Initially, the replacement electric board was really noisy. I told them we thought it was still a bit noisy, so they got the baseboard heater from a different supplier that replaced it. The second one was still kind of loud, so they replaced it again. The third time was a charm and it was better than the first 2 and finally quieter. They were very committed to their customer satisfaction and only charged me for 2 service calls instead of 3 that they actually could've. The service manager was very understanding of the whole situation and very accommodating. I would highly recommend them to other people.

The contractor arrived at the scheduled time and kept us informed of progress and options through the project. The cost was within the range that they estimated and the intrusion into the house was minimal (most work was done in the attic and the basement). All work sites were protected with drop cloths and they cleaned up all debris. Their language was cordial and informative. For example, they pointed out a mistake which they had avoided by measuring twice - which put me at ease.
Instead of the cable company running the cable straight outside and down the siding (ugly and likely to leak) I opted for "fishing" the wire inside the house through hidden wall spaces. They left a large enough pull space to add additional wires in the future with minimal additional effort. This allowed me the option to pull additional wires myself (further cost savings) or have them or another contractor come back and do the work for me.
The reason for the work was that the house is over 22 years old and has older coax "RG59" wire which does not work as well for the new digital cable devices as "RG6". The cable company told us to either replace the old wire, or they would come and drill out through the wall to drop the wire from the second floor to the basement (and charge us for it). Either way, our existing wiring was causing issues for adjacent homeowners, so it needed to be done. We elected to do only one bedroom upstairs, and I did all the downstairs connections myself (suspended ceiling in the basement is a blessing).
I asked for the additional Cat5 Ethernet wire to be pulled at the same time to allow for Gigabit Ethernet connection from our in-home network storage in the basement to a possible video streaming location in the upstairs bedroom. Wireless had worked before, but we noticed video getting jumpy when multiple people were using the wireless. A wired Ethernet connection avoids the wireless bottleneck, so this was a good investment in my opinion (and it only added a small fraction to the total cost of the job).
My only concern was the estimate process which was interrupted by other jobs at the company. After the initial inspection, the estimate was not emailed in the time specified. It took a few return calls to get the information needed and to convey the updates for payment method. But it all worked out as we expected in the end.

I first reported that one outdoor light was not working on 2/1/13. Work proceeded slowly for the first 8 weeks or so as it was still winter on some days. Then it warmed up for spring but for the next couple of months repairing our lights were not a priority. During one month (the 3rd or 4th as I recall), they were unable to install a new light pole on the 11th as it rained that day, and they rescheduled it for the end of that month, around the 30th. During the previous month it took them 2-3 weeks to obtain the price of the new pole, so that I could approve it, and then they could order it. By the 4th month I was getting fairly disgusted with their lack of concern as to how long this repair was taking. They simply did not schedule us or come very often. I started calling them weekly by then, and I was told by one of their staff on more than one occasion that by now, the 4th month, this was now their busy time of the year and they simply had other customer commitments. While I had never specifically asked them in advance for their policy, I assumed that because this required repair was first reported to them on February 1st, that completing this job should certainly have taken priority over other repair jobs, in my opinion. Toward the end of the completion of this repair, they must have become aware of my frustration, as they did schedule a technician to be on site approximately one half day or more each week, until completion. It took them almost six months to (1) replace one pole, (2) repair one light's head unit, (3) install three ground level junction boxes, (4) repair an old smashed underground junction box, and (5) locate and repair one or more underground wiring breaks. They did bill me for 44 hours labor at $40 per hour. On more than one occasion they had two technicians show up. Perhaps I was naïve to assume that they would work on our repair after starting, until completion -- but in my opinion they should have -- instead of dragging this out for almost six months.. In the future I will ask repairmen what commitment they will make, in advance. Our development has nine or so outdoor lights, and over the years this company has been called to repair individual lights on a number of occasions. During every prior repair, they showed up and the repairs were completed in just a few days. Why it dragged on for so long this time, as six months is unacceptable to me. I don't know, but again the only explanation I was ever given is that I was told that it was cold and wintry off and on for the first month or so, and after that they were busy and had other commitments. While they have been professional and acceptable in the past, this event was totally unacceptable and unprofessional in my opinion.

We requested their help in wiring and installing two outlets, exterior lighting, and a change in the location of several switches.  The staff members on the job were very polite, respectful of our home (and cat), and industrious.  One electrician was very creative in finding ways to wire an exterior light and switch that had earlier proved impossible for another.
We were generally pleased with the work performed by Miller Electric and would recommend them to others in the community.

I had several small jobs that needed to be done:  Replace a bathroom light/fan, replace front porch light, and add a motion-detector light for the driveway.  As a single mother I had no clue how to do these or what was involved.  I called Miller's and the service rep who answered the phone took the time to find out what I really needed, whether or not I wanted to buy the appliances myself, and tips of what to look for when I decided to purchase them, such as the CFM rating for the fan, all before I even made an appointment.  I was in no rush but was able to get an appointment within a few days.
The gentleman who came to do the work was prompt, polite, efficient, and tidy.  He explained the modes and features of the items he installed, and made sure to test them thoroughly before he left (including checking for vibration noise on the fan).  He offered me the choice of keeping my old appliances or having him dispose of them for me.
All in all I was very pleased with the service I received.

He was very punctual, even showed up a bit early, which was fine. He was very courteous and has been in the business for many years. I thought he was professional, competent, and very nice to talk to. He was cordial and engaged in conversation. I plan to use him for all our future electrical work.

My husband was at work when I noticed the problem.  I contacted Miller and they told me to take all the animals and children out of the house and avoid contact with any electrical appliances.  They arrived at my house in about fifteen minutes.  It turned out that a connector junction between the power panel and the power service had deteriorated, and was allowing water to leak into the system.  They sealed the leak, cleaned the power panel and replaced all fouled circuit breakers.  The job took about four hours to complete but the results were outstanding.
Since then we have had them out to perform other minor electrical services such as install exterior lights, wire in a sump pump and repair a broken ceiling fan.  I cannot find the receipts associated with these services but these items were done according to our needs and we have had no further problems with any of these items.
