Robert Cahill Electric showed up on time and he did what he was supposed to do. His prices were in the middle, he was neither high nor low.

He showed up 15 minutes early, which was good, and he got all the work done in half an hour. I had already bought the ballast and he walked me through what he was doing, so that if I needed to replace the ballast in the future, I could do it on my own. He was very helpful in explaining to me what I needed to know to be able to do it on my own.

Excellent. Rob has done many jobs for us. He took it upon himself to call the Canadian manufacturer of the tubs to troubleshoot the issue. He had a new motor sent and installed it. It works perfectly and the exhaust fan is also working well. He's installed many can lights in our ceilings as well as outdoor lighting. He's terrific, fair, prompt, and responsible.

Rob is excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and isn't afraid to make suggestions for a better way of doing something or to help save money. I have hired him a half a dozen times over the past few years for projects at several homes. He is honest and completely trustworthy. He also doesn't mind if I work with him to help save money. I don't know why people give him less than an "A" on price. He bills me based on time and materials at $65 per hour... that is right in line with, if not cheaper than, a typical electrical contractor.

Rob arrived timely, inspected the circuit in question (my primary concern) and noted that it appeared to be OK, just a bit loose. Also converted existing outlet to GFI without incident. Finally, he noticed that my sump pump was connected to a GFI outlet; not a good idea because if the basement gets moist, the circuit would trip, turning off the pump! I contracted him on the spot for that job. Honest and competent. Would recommend.

ROB CAHILL WAS LATE EVERY DAY OF THE JOB. HE BALKED AT THE IDEA OF MOVING ANYTHING AROUND TO GET TO THE LOCATIONS OF THE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. HE TRIED TO SAY WE NEVER DISCUSSED THE PROJECT DETAILS, WHEN WE ACTUALLY HAD. HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST PRIMA DONNA CONTRACTORS THAT HAS EVER WORKED ON MY HOUSE.

WE HAD A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH MR. CAHILL. HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND GOOD FOLLOW-UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT. ONCE HE UNDERSTOOD THE BASIC ISSUE, PATIENTLY AND METHODICALLY DETERMINE WHAT CIRCUITS/WIRES WERE CAUSING ISSUES AND EVENTUALLY DETERMINE WHERE SEVERAL NEUTRAL WIRES WERE NOT PROPERLY TIGHTENED. HE WAS ABLE TO TRACE WHERE THE ISSUE WAS, EVEN THOUGH A FIXTURE THAT WAS THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM WAS NO WHERE NEAR THE OUTLETS THAT HAD THE SYMPTOMS. HE WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF OUR ISSUE FAIRLY QUICKLY. WE WOULD RECOMMEND AND USE HIM AGAIN.

HE HAS DONE A WONDERFUL JOB ON OUR HOME MULTIPLE TIMES. I WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM RECOMMENDING HIM. HE WORKS HARD AND MAKES SURE HE IS DOING EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT.
