They did a good job repaving the driveway. The issue was with they way he paved, or didn't pave the driveway properly. Now there is a section where water collects and drains in to the basement window. I've tried contacting him to come back out, he says he will, but hasn't showed up.

Kept promising a written estimate that was never provided. Ordered stones that we did not want and began installing before we had a chance to see them. He then raised the cost by $1,500.00 over original verbal estimate. When work was completed he raised the price by an additional $2,000.00. The work was done for my mother who is 76 years old, and I believe this contractor knew he could intimidate her into paying. When the work was completed, we discovered that the patio was not graded properly and large pools of water more than an inch deep form after rain. Also, later we discovered that he had severed a power line that ran under the patio providing electricity to our garage. He refused to come back and address this issue and instead left an abusive message on my mother's answering machine. We contacted the State Attorney Generals office department of consumer protection and the Better Business Bureau but Michael at Pro-Pave ignored any attempted contact by these agencies. Contractors like him know they can ignore the authorities at no risk to their business. I've been advised that if I sue, he will not show up to court, and though I will receive a summary judgement in my favor, I will need to hire a lawyer to take him to a higher court to compel him to pay. We need stronger laws to protect us against disreputable contractors. Until then, I just hope this review helps someone else from getting ripped off by Pro-Pave Paving and Landscaping (of Blue Bell, Pa or possibly Spring House, Pa - they have no physical address that I can find).
