They delivered a load of firewood.

They came the next day and on time. The cord of wood was stacked where I wanted it and they also put some on my deck as I asked. The wood is a little "newer" than I would want, but considering the time of year it is fine. So far it is burning great, next time I will call earlier in the season

I called them and got an estimate. Then I called them and ordered firewood, and found out that the estimate was wrong and that they were going to charge me more for delivery. I ordered anyway, and they said that they would call me the night before their delivery, some time during the week. They never called, so at the end of the week I called them, and they said they'd deliver it today (Saturday). I didn't like it, but they promised they'd deliver early so as not to mess up my whole weekend. 9am came and went, and finally I called them. The woman seemed exasperated and gave me the number of the owner. I called him, gave him my name and address for the 3rd time, and he told me that while he could deliver the wood (that I'd ordered two weeks ago) today, he'd charge me $40 for delivery, but if I waited until tomorrow, he'd charge me $15. I explained how I'd been promised a 9am delivery, and he said, "Well, I have to be honest, the women in the office who take the orders are a bunch of dingbats who don't know anything. I'm a farmer, and I'm giving it to you straight." I canceled the order, he said, "Good," and hung up the phone on me. What a tremendous d*****.

They have been dependable and provided prompt service.

Everything was just the way I ordered it. They supplied 2 cords of mixes hardwood. One cord was double split for easier burning. The peices did not exceed 22" long (most were 18"). They were delivered right on schedule. They walked and stacked the firewood in 2 different property locations. There was no debris left in my driveway. I could not have been more satisfied.
