I would recommend them because I like them.

My water bill started getting significantly higher so I hired a plumber to find out what was causing this. After looking at the pipes inside the house it was determined that the leak was from the house to the road. My plumber did not want to do the repairs because the water line ran under a ravine between my neighbors house and mine. He suggested I contact Roto Rooter which I did. This was around the end of September, 2012 into the beginning of October that I first contacted them about the problem. I was told that my plumber had contacted them and talked to Eric about it and that Eric would get back with me. I waited another week and when I didn't hear from him I checked back. I was told there was a problem at the school district they had to take care of and it was a major problem. I waited several more weeks and still didn't hear from them. I contacted several other places to get quotes but could not find anyone who wanted to do the repairs because of the ravine. I hired another person to assist me with the project and do some other repairs and he contacted Roto Rooter to get a quote. It took him several more weeks to get them to come out and do a quote and they said they would do the work. They gave a quote of between $1,000 and $1,500 which I accepted because I wasn't able to find anyone else to do the repairs. They told my repair man they would come the next week and they didn't. He contacted them several times and they said they were coming but always had an excuse why they had to postpone the work. I finally went to Roto Rooter's website and did a review on their poor service and the next day I get a phone call from my repair man that they are coming the next day to fix the leak. This was the week before Thanksgiving. They did come and they did the repairs but instead of being the original quoted price it cost me $1,910.00. Not only that, my water bill had increased to $300/mth so I had that additional cost and the cost of the repair man that I had to hire to get the work accomplished. I was also told that the manager was upset because I had given him a bad review on Roto Rooter's website and he had to explain why the work wasn't completed in a timely manner. Satisfied with their work, NO WAY. It took over two months to get the work done, they charged more than quoted and they left my yard a mess and dug ruts in the part of the yard that wasn't affected. The only reason I put up with all this is because I was desperate to get the water line fixed and they were the only ones I could find to do the job. In all it cost me almost $3,500.00 by the time I was done paying the water company, Roto Rooter and my repair man.
