Jeremy Long is the only electrician I will trust. He was recommended by our realtor in 2005 when we bought our first home in Bloomsburg. His first task was to replace a 100 amp service with a new 200 amp service. That went well, and we had him back - sometimes solo - sometimes with a helper - over the next 8 years to rewire the rest of the house in stages. We had some knob and tube that had to go, and we added a subpanel in out attic to run extra power to a room that had sensitive equipment.
Jeremy is always great to work with, and communicates well. What I like most about him is that I can explain exactly what I want to do, and he and quot;gets itand quot;. He follows the plan well, offering cost savings where he can, but never over or under selling himself.
We moved this year, and I am counting on Jeremy Long for all of our electrical needs for our new place. I know he's up to the challenge.

I called two electricians that work in the Bloomsburg Pa area and advertised in our local paper. They were both very prompt in getting back to me and in looking at the job. The first one gave me a price of $3700. I was shocked and let him know it. He didn't budge off his price at all. Jeremy looked at the same job and gave me a figure of $1092 for the 100 amp service and then an hourly rate for the rest of the work. He was able to start in a couple of days. He put the service in and then I helped him trace the wires out by working in the utility room switching breakers on and off. He finished it in about five hours and charged his hourly rate plus the cost of material. He was ready to clean up but I told him I would to save the extra time. He did a great job. I'll use him for all of my electrical work.
