We saw a display for Guardian Scapes at a home and garden show January  29, 2016 and really loved the work displayed. Our house has a poured concrete foundation which is exposed about 3 feet and we wanted stone work done to it to enhance the appearance of the house. We left our contact information and within a week had set up a consultation and the following week signed our contract. Work started on March 1, 2016, and the project completed on March 9, 2016. Bill and his helper Brian were very courteous, respectful, cheerful  and professional - they asked my opinion before they went ahead with the work, left the yard clean at the end of every workday and even fixed the steps to our side porch. They were very pleasant to deal with, my husband and I were both sad to see them go. We highly recommend Guardian Scapes and will contact them again for future projects.

This is the final year for me to contract with Guardian for lawn mowing. I have used them for three seasons. The company's owner, Ellen, is very nice and tries very hard to meet my expectations; however, her company's yard mower business has turned over their staff regularly and at times abruptly. This, according to Ellen, has led in large part to the numerous problems I have encountered with the service I expected and contracted for. In spite of my willingness to work with Ellen to try to "stick in there with us," the problems have persisted. Overall, it is my best recollection that my yard received on average no more than 1 cut per week which might have on occasions have been stretched out far longer leading to clumps of clippings. Of the many problems I experienced, which the owner has acknowledged, the most recent happened quite coincidently while I was at home- that being their tractor being ran into my house(!), a large arbor vitae shrub being ran into, and my deck 6x6 posts being not only regularly string-trimmed but also ran into by the tractor. I reported all of this to the owner and she & I discussed the problems in detail. In summary, after 3 years of trying to work through the problems and shortcomings, I will not contract with them again for lawn mowing and can not recommend that portion of their company's service.
