Went very well - the price was not cheap but neither was it exorbitant. They were very helpful to explain what they were going to do / did and had no hesitation about showing me the old parts. They called and asked when unexpected things came up (for example, did I want new rotors or the old rotors turned? Did I want OE parts or were off-the-shelf parts okay?). They were not quite done on time but had a good reason for it and offered me an alternative to leaving the car (take and bring it back, not a loaner). I know very little about cars but didn't feel that they treated me like an idiot. I will continue to return there for other work.

UPDATE 5/16/11:

I have used Blakeslee Garage four more times since the first time and they have continued to provide excellent service. In particular: once they told me when they thought I did not need work done that I was requesting and offered me a much less expensive alternative, and twice they did not charge me to identify the cause when my check engine light came on (at other places usually this is a diagnostic test costing up to $100). Work included the two diagnostic checks, two oil changes, a flat tire repair, polishing the headlights, replacing a rotted muffler gasket, and others. My car is a 2003 Toyota Highlander with 112,000 miles on it. All of the staff continues to be courteous and friendly and to treat me with honesty and respect. I will certainly continue to use this business and highly recommend them to others
