We had some concerns about the process. We live in a log house. There was vertical log siding on the chimney, and it was a nightmare. They ripped off the log siding and added a stone facing to it. We talked to the gentleman - the owner - when we saw a problem, and they left it late in the year, which concerned us. The base of the chimney could still be fixed, and we think he will.
