When I called the shop to see if they did this service and how much it would be, the serviceman knew exactly what I was talking about and said I could probably fix it myself by changing the spark plug and getting a new air filter - I thought this as a good sign that they did not want to charge me for something that I could do myself - but alas, I didn't know where the spark plug was or where I would get one anyway. He said if I brought it in there would be a minimum charge of $22.50 for the service plus the parts. We brought it in and Leon showed my daughter and I where the spark plug was, he cleaned it up, showed us how to check the oil, added oil, checked for a spark and got it running. We were elated, especially that he was true to his word, it only took 15 - 20 minutes, and the minimum charge applied, he didn't charge for the oil, the only additional cost was the air filter. Another lawn mower service place in the area told me over the phone, that they couldn't tell me anything until they saw the mower and that it wouldn't be looked at for about a week. The grass would have been pretty tall by then!
