This VacuVent franchise, which is relatively new to the area (1+ years old) advertised in a mailing - $49.99 for the first five vents, 13.99 for each additional vent. We had a total of 14 vents which included the intake vents. I was able to obtain the appointment the following week with a start time of 9 A.M. The technician, Kevin, (who is also the owner) arrived about 9:45 A.M which was acceptable since I was told there was a one hour window. The job took about two hours with minimum disruption. The equipment VacuVent uses is a large box-shaped vacuum into which all the dust, hair, etc. is vacuumed. I was able to look at the amount of "stuff" in the vacuum - it was impressive!!! Kevin was very pleasant, professional and polite and we will definitely call VacuVent the next time we need our ducts cleaned. The charges were much, much lower than other similar services.
