The contractor did a horrible job. They shingled over vents, damaged the chimney, installed non-fire rated plywood where it is code to install fire-rated plywood, and damaged the facia trim at multiple locations as they were removing the original roof. It has been 9 months since they completed the work and the repairs are still not done. Most important, the owner, Paul Snellen finally got engaged after 9 months and agreed to meet me at my home. The week before the meeting, the roof leaked and damaged the ceiling in my bedroom and I informed the company. Paul came to my home and walked out on the meeting without even checking the damage being caused by a roof leak. I think is very telling of the integrity of this company and of the owner, Paul Snellen. He walked away from a customer where he hasn't completed the work on my home and left me with a leaking roof. Not only did he walk away, but he sent my account to collections. I hired another contractor and they found that the seam was installed improperly. I will never use this company again, nor do I recommend them. Please feel free to contact me as I can provide my details and have pictures to substantiate all the above.

The roofing crew did a great job with one issue that wasn't noticed till the siding crew came later. This problem was never resolved. After the first siding crew came and worked several days. There were many issues that we brought to there attention, while the work was being done. After the 3rd day I told them that I didn't want that crew back at my house. These are just a couple problems...ripped screens, wavy siding, poorly fitted jay channels, left exposed wood, bent all drip edges (new from roofers), crushed window frames, poorly cut corners, spouting and gutters not placed properly...the list goes on and on. They sent another crew leader to assess the work and he thought my 2 year old granddaughter did the work. Funny, but not! That crew came and fixed several of the problems. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. After several attempts to have everything fixed properly they said everything was functioning properly and even though we weren't pleased with the way it looked that's all they were going to do. The owner never responded to our numerous times of trying to contact him. They came highly recommended by a contractor and we didn't even look any where else. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

My existing skylight starting leaking after they installed my new roof. I called about the problem and informed them that I would not make any payment until the problem was solved. They came out the same day and guaranteed that the problem was fixed. I then paid them in full for the work. One week later we had another rain storm and the skylight began to leak again. I called them again and they told me that they were too busy and could not come out for ten days. I needed a bucket to catch the water. My ceiling was covered in water spots and the drywall had cracked open. Ten days later they showed up and claimed that they were not responsible for the leak because I chose not to replace my two year old skylight with a new one when the roof was replaced. The skylight never leaked prior to that. They charged me twelve hundred dollars to put on a new skylight. Eight hundred dollars more then what they normally charged. However I was desperate to get the problem resolved and now l am left with interior damage to fix.

If your time is important to you, be cautious in dealing with PWR. While I'm sure the company get a lot of business through the massive amount of advertising they do (and heavy rains over the last year), they have A LOT of trouble with customer service and following through with important details without CONSTANT reminders. This was true with my roof job, as well as the referral (from me) repair job on my brother's roof. PWR took many WEEKS to answer simple follow-up questions on my replacement; failed to send paperwork needed for the manufacturers warranty; and failed to send the referral fee related to the work at my brother's property (later, after being reminded of the agreement, they paid a fraction of the amount promised). Related to my brother's repair, PWR initially misdiagnosed the problem. Then, after receiving a deposit, PWR took their time scheduling the work. Only after being repeatedly contacted, did they schedule the repair. The majority of these problems were blamed on phantom "computer glitches" instead of owning up to the mistakes. Additionally, PWR refuses to answer any emails related to problems, presumably for fear of being held accountable for their answers. To me, this is a huge RED-FLAG. Their price is in the middle of other contractors; they cleaned up well after the work, other than an inordinate amount of nails being scattered around the perimeter of the property; and, so far, the roofs replacement and repair is leak free. I think the quality of the actual work is better than average, but dealing with all the delays, failures to follow-up, and excuses, makes this company sub par.

Paul Wright was exceptional! They responded to my inquiry immediately, and had an estimator come to inspect our leak the same week. They identified the issue (leaking vent boots at the penetrations in the roof. They work was quickly scheduled, and on the day of service, they arrived early to perform the work. They were extremely professional, and left the work area as tidy as if it nothing had been done. Even after their repair, Barry, from Paul Wright, visited our house following another period of heavy rain to inspect the attic to ensure the repair was done right. Thanks to Paul Wright Roofing, we can enjoy our summer, without fear of weather causing damage to our wonderful home. I can highly recommend Paul Wright Roofing to any who are in need of conscientious, capable roofing or window needs.

Mike,Eric and the rest of the crew did an outstanding job. There was some plywood that needed replacing and they showed me the defective wood. Also installed a new attic fan. Excellent cleanup. Definitely I would use them again.

Very well. I have used Paul Wright for most of my other roof work - excluding this problem that was done by a previous roofer. Job required additional downspout in a fancy color. Guys removed and installed new with a different drainage path away from the house. Heavy rains would cause the lower roof downspouting to overflow like a waterfall because the lower roof could not handle the volume from the main roof. That does not happen anymore. I am pleased with the work that was performed. My problem has been alieviated.

The salesperson was professional, explained my options and what they were going to do. They arrived on the day scheduled. Replaced my roof and plywood as needed and put in channels along the walls the butted the roof to prevent the wicking of water under the wooden siding and replaced the trim. This was over and above the scope of work but needed to be done. They performed that additional basically non-roof service with a minimal increase in cost for that change order. The crew was professional and I have not found even a nail on my property. You would have never known they were there. Professional, courteous and a pleasure to deal with from my initial call through the sale process and project completion.

Haven't had a major downpour to see if repair was successful...they were suppose to soak the area to see if it worked...but they didn't!

I found Paul Wright Roofing due to word of mouth from both my brother and uncle who are local business owners in the Lehigh Valley, They both encouraged me to make the call to Paul Wright Roofing due to positive word of mouth from their clients. In the past, I would have called the roofing company who initially installed roof, but they would never would call me back after repeated calls. I knew I had to find a new roofing company. I made a phone call to Paul Wright Roofing when I noticed I had 2 water leaks in my home from roof. When I called, Melanie answered my phone call and immediately scheduled an appointment for my roof to be assessed which was with in days of my initial call. I received a call a few days later from Barry who was going to assess my roof and appointment/time was verified. Barry arrived when he said he was going to arrive and assessed my issues with roof. He was patient and listened to my concerns because the leaks on my roof were a source of anxiety for me. He provided a free quote for what was needed and I agreed to his findings and hired Paul Wright Roofing. Barry said to expect the work to be done in a few weeks with a tentative time frame. He said I would be expecting another phone call from the actual gentleman who would do the roof repairs prior to repair date. I received a nice thank you note in the mail for choosing them for my roofing needs, which is unheard of these days. I was impressed by this note as well was my son who is taking business courses at local university. They really appreciate my business!! A little over a week later, I received a phone call from repair person and a date and time scheduled for all repairs to be done. The roofers arrived while I was at work, but neighbors informed me they were on site when appointment was scheduled and all repairs were completed. After repairs I received the bill in the mail and a return address envelope with stamp included. I also received a follow up phone call from Melanie to complete a brief survey on my experience with their company. I would highly recommend Paul Wright Roofing and the customer service was outstanding. Businesses have lost focus on the little things that set them apart from their competition. Paul Wright Roofing has exceeded my expectation. Their customer service sets them apart from other roofing companies. Thank you!!!

The company was responsive, polite, punctual. The actual work did not take long at all, but I feel that the cost was quite excessive for what was done. I needed this done quickly, as water was leaking into my bedroom window, so I did not obtain 3 estimates. I think I paid too much.

Paul Wright Roofing answers the phone and gives an appointment right away (doesn't have someone call you back) I made an appointment on the weekends so I didn't have to take off of work. The estimator didn't try and sell me things I didn't need done. He gave suggestions & answered all my questions I had no idea on. Everyone I talked to there is so nice and also willing to help. I will use Paul Wright Roofing again.

The estimator came when he said he would, and gave us a detailed estimate, with pictures of the areas where work would need to be done. He was friendly and competent. He told us two weeks, but he would try to get them scheduled to come out within a week, since there was a lot of rain in the forecast and we were really afraid that the ceiling would collapse. Lo and behold they did schedule the job within a week; they were right on time, and finished ahead of schedule. They were polite and clearly explained the work that they had done to fix the leak. After they came, I received a call from the office, asking me about my experience. About a week later, Joe, the foreman came out and inspected the work and asked about whether or not the fixes had worked to fix the leak -and they had! We now have a dry house again. They called when they said they would. They were on time, they were polite, and they did good work. I got the sense from start to finish that they weren't going to make promises that they couldn't keep, but that they would do their darndest to make sure they didn't have to come back. I am very impressed with the quality of their customer service.

They were on time, and the roof was done in 2 days. The long and the short is that the roof leaks. They didn't replace some flashing that they should have, and there were problems with how it was shingled in the back. The ridge vent shingles stick up and look horrible. When you complain they send someone who's job is to tell you how it isn't possibly their fault, and if he can't find a way to do that just keeps making appointments to come out when it's raining and never shows up. They didn't do a good job and they didn't stand by their warrantee.

Troy was prompt and quick with the estimate for the job and i hired them on the spot. The two guys that did the work where professional Cheerful and explained all the details of what they had accomplished that day. The one was working on the roof recoating on one of the hottest days of the year, but was all smiles and cheerful as he greeted us on our return home from work. The other guy was replacing the shingles on the two small porch roofs and replacing the fascia. Both workers went above and beyond to get this job done in a timely fashion. The flat roof was coated with a silver finish instead of the black as recommended by Troy. It was amazing the difference that made in the second floor it stayed cooler and took less AC to keep it cool this past summer. Both porch roofs have been fine with no leaks or torn shingles

My job took some time until it was scheduled. (Probably because this was custom work which required a specialized slate and copper crew; and to construct an elaborate scaffold that could reach 60 feet to the upper roof line...and also to safely accommodate the crew while they worked.)

All told, I am thrilled with the end result!  The new roof looks exactly like the original slate roof - only better! Turned out better than I had hoped or expected... We have received many favorable comments from our neighbors on the finished product.

I am pleased I chose Paul Wright to do the job. They did the job (w)right.
