Marion tile installation

Dan and Dave did a great job. They prepped the area by removing old vinyl flooring and laminate backsplash and patched the wall as needed. They installed and grouted subway tile in the kitchen and large tiles in a brick pattern in the foyer/half bath area. They also installed baseboard around the perimeter of the small bathroom and a new toilet and adjusted doors and a radiator cover to make them fit the new floor. I furnished materials except for the cement board for the floor, mastic for all tiling, and new door sweeps. The job required considerable labor and attention to small details. Throughout the project, Dan was communicative and responsive, and both Dan and Dave are easy to work with and aim to please.

Dan was very personable, did a great job and kept me informed as to his availability. Only drawback is he gets booked up, so you have to be flexible with your timeline.

Everything went really well. I called 4 places and ended up getting 3 different quotes. One of the places was booking things over 3 months out and I couldn't wait that long. Dan was scheduling work about a month out this summer when I got the quote. I really appreciate it when the one doing the quote is the one doing the work. Anyway, his price was competitive and since I knew he was the one that would actually be doing the work, I went with him. The job itself went quite well. It took him about two days. I've very happy with the results and quite glad I didn't attempt the job myself. I have a very old house and my floors and walls are quite uneven. He was able to compensate for all that and make the floor flat and keep the lips between the tiles nice and small. I would absolutely use him again.
