Marcell Landscaping

Marcell's work is consistently high quality. He has been doing work for us for over 5 years. He has a great sense of design, and expertly finishes landscaping work. His real talent is in block and brick work, patios and ponds.

Overall, it was okay. We didn't go with them for a couple of reasons. The gentleman came out, he made himself available so he was really accommodating at that time that he had to come out to take a look at the place, what I did like about him is that after we talked and I told him what I wanted, he put together a computerized diagram of what I wanted for the lawn services for the landscaping, that's primarily what we were looking for, he did put together a presentation and he came back and reviewed it. This is probably where I'm not happy, the presentation didn't reflect the things that I wanted and that continue to be an issue in our discussions, he had a vision for what he wanted the landscaping to look like and I had a hard time getting him to see my vision, it was a nice presentation that he made but it wasn't what I wanted though and that made me concerned about communication so I think that's was the best communication and the second thing was we had given him a budget that we had to work with and the presentation that he did estimate was almost twice that, and that was a problem so we decided not to go with him. The estimate was good but it's not the right match with us. When you double the budget then that's the problem, you have to work with the budget. He was accommodating but he just didn't listen, I just think there was a communication issue but he was a nice person.

All of the projects have gone very well. On budget, and finished professionally.
