They first came out and gave me a free evaluation. Jon was very knowledgable and professional. What impressed me the most is how much more he knew about pest problems than the other exterminators I had look at the problem. He just made me feel comfortable about the whole process.
I never felt pressured to buy anything like I did with the national company that came out.
Anyway, I decided to use Lehigh Valley Pest Control and I'm glad I did. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. I felt like I was having a friend do the work. I have a wife and two girls and it's a good feeling to be able to trust workers in your home.
Pricing was right in line with other estimates I received.
I never felt pressured to buy anything like I did with the national company that came out.

I noticed termites swarming around front porch planter in May, 2010. Panicked, and started to look for terminator.
Found pest control on line. He was quiet responsive, gave me verbal guarantees, the price.
Walked around the house, crawl space, and set an appointment.
We signed a three year contract, and I've got assurances.
The first time he put some chemicals around the house, but I did pay his attention that swarming is around the porch.
Offered to remove side panel to get access under the porch. He said it was not necessary.
Swarming period ended, but I was still concerned, so in a couple of months I dged in the porch planter.
It was full of termites!!!!
I called him again. He came and put more chemicals in the planter.
Once again he said it's fine under the porch.
The contract also included spraying trees for insects for $90. Requested this service several times. Nobody came.
Next year same story with swarming in the planter, and the planter itself is small.
Called again. Same story. he comes several times, put something in the planter, and leaves with no concern.
This was going on for the duration of contract.
No trees spraying either.
Well, after contract was over I am left with planter completely eaten by termites, and porch support eaten at the ground level.
And that was the only place where I saw termites.
Right now I'm considering legal action against Lehigh Valley Pest Control.

"I do not believe there is an issue. Every aspect of our service agreement has been fulfilled. The customer's planter box has been severly damaged from wood rot and insect damage including termites prior to her hiring our company. It was made clear and it is part of the original written agreement that the coverage related to the "single home only". Per her request we did return to treat the soil in her planter box to eliminate the termite in it. To my knowledge the termites were eliminated from that box. The home owner has had no contact with our office since the last year we inspected the home. During the last inspection no termites were found. Since the beginning of the service agreement period, the structure of the home has had no termite intrusion."

They sprayed for the ants. Gave us instruction on making sure our dog was kept safe. They put the poison in the mole/vole holes & we've not had any additional issues.

I felt like they were very honest and sincere people. It was an excellent experience. They did everything to take care of the pests. They didn't insist that they had to come back when it wasn't needed.
