The price was very resonable, he was fairly priced. I liked him. I would use him again. He was very good. He was very accomodating and up front. He stuck to his word and his origin price.

Water pump blew out at 7PM on a Friday night with eight people staying in the house.  No running water.  Called Josh on the recommendation of our handyman.  He came out and left pretty quickly to go "find a water pump".  Told us he'd be back that night or "first thing Saturday morning."  By 9PM, hadn't heard from him and assumed we were going to have to brush our teeth with Poland Springs (where can you get a water pump on a Friday night??).  Then he knocks on the door!  Drove to Lowe's and got our pump.  Water was running half an hour later.  Our hero!

Josh showed up on time. He even came on a Sunday morning to get the concrete footers dug and poured, so the pergola construction could start first thing on Monday morning. He and John finished the pergola in 3 days and cleaned up the mess completely. There was no damage to the yard - you could hardly tell they were there - except for the beautiful new pergola.



The next week Josh brought Geoff in to break up the old concrete patio. They had to use some big jackhammers and for a short time there was a lot of noise. We were not home, but Josh was thoughtful enough to remove cooking pottery and bowls from the shelves in the kitchen next to where the work was being done. He was afraid that the vibration from the jackhammers might cause items to fall off the shelves. My wife was impressed and very pleased with this personal service.



Geoff had to frame in a new rectangular pit for our double basement window and it turned out much better that the original. The new concrete was poured last week, and the flagstone installed this week, and it is hard to believe it is the same patio and breezeway. They had to shorten the door to the garage to clear the new flagstone and cut it to fit in the doorway. Everything was done nicely and It is very beautiful. This morning the yard and patio is cleaned up and all of the furniture moved back. The only remaining item is a grate over the window pit. I am sure Josh will get this done in a few days.



Overall the work is fantastic and came out even better that I expected. I really do not know how they did such a nice job using expensive materials for the price Josh charged.

After the latest protracted blackout, found a vent-less gas stove for a tenant (the CraigsList generator, of course, failed to start). Rather than perform the connection myself -- and risk a fine -- I opted for legal. John showed up on time, quoted a price range, produced a clean job within that range.

They were very good about getting back to us and giving us an estimate. I just felt right from the start that Josh was a person I could work with. He offered many good ideas and was always willing to incorporate my wants and ideas into the design. Josh and his co-worker were very professional and detailed oriented. If I wasn't happy with something (or they weren't happy with the way something came out) they would redo it. They cleaned up after themselves everyday before they left.Let's face it having remodeling done for 3 weeks is not the most pleasant or clean thing to have done, but Josh and John made it much more tolerable. I would totally recommend them without hesitation.

Our original issue was that our washing machine was getting almost no cold water so it would take forever for the washing machine to fill or sometimes it would just time out and stop completely. It would take hours to do one load of wash because the tub would fill so slowly unless we were using just hot water. We had no other issues with the cold water anywhere in the house. Josh determined our problem was that the well-water had so much silt in it that it was accumulating in the cold water pipes in the basement. The hot water heater was filtering the hot water which is why we had no problem with hot water. Josh installed a large household filter between the well-pump and the plumbing to the rest of the house. The washing machine problem was fixed. A week later we had lost water pressure and called Josh. Josh came to our house on Labor Day and fixed the problem and we've had no issues since. He did not charge us for the Labor Day visit.

Josh did a excellent job. He was on time, charged the amount he quoted, and responded quickly when we needed him. Josh is very knowledgeable and personable.
