I had over a dozen violations and Mr. Wirth's plan to remedy them was notably superior to the other contractors who provided estimates and only a few hundred higher.  Heat in the attic was the main issue so we tried to schedule the work on the coolest days available.  All the work was completed well before legal violation date required. Only other problem was 2 wires that wouldn't come down and here I agreeded to have him cut out a couple holes in the walls to pull them through. I also had an extra fixture and line put in, but he only charged the original estimate. Mr.Wirth  does excellent  work and I will use him again.

I called Mr. Wirth because of the ratings on Angie's list and some good reports from neighbors.  Mr. Wirth promptly called me back and set up an appointment with me within the week.  Over the phone, he disclosed his hourly rate.  He showed up at the agreed upon time and got right to work.  He discussed the electrical outlet situation in our kitchen and gave us options for repair (what would meet the code for our house regarding the year it was built and if we wanted to meet the current code - the price difference was significant and the latter option would require some ceiling repair and he discussed pros and cons).  He seemed very knowledgeable and had a good work ethic.  He was very professional.

He was very good, investigated a difficult electrical problem and figured it out, re-wired and solved the problem. He was a nice guy, pleasant to work with and someone I would recommend to others.

Jeffrey Wirth is a licensed electrician who has always done a very good job on electrical work for us in the past, so when it was time to replace our 100 amp service we got an estimate from him, as well as several other electricians, to do this project. His estimate was the lowest and we knew he would do a good job. We had to postpone the project several days due to rain, but when a clear day was forecast, he called the night before and arranged to arrive before 8 AM. Our electrical power was shut off at 8 AM and by 2:20 PM he began (with our help) the process of identifying and labeling all the new breakers. By 3:30 PM, he was done, had the work site cleaned up, and was gone.
