Unit installed by Brinker's Fuel, owned by Altemos, who did the service thru 2010. They have been replaced as a HD vendor, a good thing. Continued poor performance, numerous service calls. Unit failed this year and in spite of paying for extended 10 year warranty, they refused to cover the lose. During the multiple service calls we discovered numerous defects in installation, a system listed on a bill of sale as 2 1/2 tons was actually a 2 ton compressor and an air handler set for flow appropriate for 1 1/2 tons and duct sizing not capable of supporting more than 1 1/2 tons. when all the defects in design and installation became apparent during new inspections this year after the failure, it was obvious the fix would be expensive. The customer service reps had to send it up for higher approval. After making us wait for a decision and plan, I got a letter telling me they decided to just deny warranty coverage and to find another vendor. This was after they sent an new vendor to evaluate the system who verified the previous improper design and installation overseen by Home depot. So much for paying for an extended warranty.
