CBS Appliance Repair

They came to fix my Samsung fridge and put on a device that they created which would “fix”the freeze up problem. Work was guaranteed for one year. Only problem was when I had the same issue two months later and called numerous times I got NO RETURN CALL.... NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER!! Very disappointing!

BADLY! Lost over $200 worth of food, plus my valuable time.

Wonderful.  My refridgerator had gone out and I had about $2000 worth of food that would have gone to waste.  He drove quite a distance and came out the same day to do the repair.  He was so helpful and really, really nice.  A pleasure to have in my home.  I would certainly consider using him again. For him to come out so quickly says something about him and his business.

Don't waste your time even calling them While CBS has multiple phone numbers no one answers the phone and calls are not returned promptly. My washing machine was leaking water so I left a message with CBS around 8am on 6/20/12. Eight hours later my call had not been returned so I left a second message. I finally received a call back at 8:30pm that night.
I spoke with Joe who said he would be at my house between 1pm and 2pm on Friday 6/22. Joe did not show up at my house and no one bothered to call me and let me know the appointment would not be kept. Around 4:30pm Joe called and wanted to stop by in and quot;about an hourand quot;. He did not apologize for not being on time or offer any explanation. The repair appointment was between 1pm and 2pm not whenever he felt like it.
So no, Joe did not stop by; I had already found another appliance repair company to do the work. CBS advertises itself as a premier appliance repair company in the Lehigh Valley. A premier company provides excellent customer service AND performs excellent work I understand things can happen unexpectedly, which necessitate a service call time to be rescheduled. It is unacceptable for a company to blow off a scheduled service time and not even contact their customer to let them know what is happening. I give work to local business but I will not put up with a company treating my time or me badly. This company obviously doesn't care how it treats its customers, don't waste your time or money on them. .

The repair went very well. They were only at my house about 1/2 hr.

They never called me on Wed or Thurs, so I called them on thursday afternoon. They said they would be there friday. No show on friday and no call. I called and they said they had an emergency and they would definitely come on Monday. No show on Monday. When I called the office (several times) there was no answer. So I left a message. Tuesday morning I called and the man said he was sick and they would come by early afternoon. They did come in the early afternoon and replaced the seal.

I am happy with the work they did, but if someone was sick, they should have called me or left a message to that effect on the answering machine. I was put off for almost a week, and while I understand the door seal was not an emergency, as a customer, I deserved a phone call to explain and reschedule. As it was, I was left hanging for almost a week.
