It didn't. They procrastinated from Jun 3rd until Aug 18th, when after many promised dates , they informed me that they wouldn't be working in the area where my daughters house was located in Bethlehem Twp. and therefore could not do the job

My wife and I purchased a house in latter part of last year.
We decided to remodel the entire structure. After taking the house down to the studs and upgrading the plumbing, heating and electrical, we needed someone to come in and do the interior finish work.
Ken from Broadway Building Contractors was one of several contractors we had come out to estimate the job.
Broadway Building Contractors was by far the most knowledgeable.
Ken took his time in listening to what we wanted and was very helpful in making suggestions.
The end result was excellent-
we will use them again in the future should the need arise.
We would absolutely recommend Broadway Building Contractors to anyone who is considering remodeling all or part of
their home.

He was very professional and courteous, my schedule is crazy and grueling and this company made a huge effort to accommodate me and my needs.  
They took the time to explain everything in detail and how they would approach to each issue.   I would gladly use him again for any other jobs I may consider on the home.

I was pleased with the overall experience in hiring Broadway Building Contractors and dealing with the owner, Ken.  The work was done on time, neatly, as described and for the amount quoted - less the 5% Angie's List membership discount, which was a big plus.  I was especially happy with the interior ceiling repair/repainting, which was performed due to mold and moisture seeping through from the roof - it came out great.  I would use this company in the future and recommend them to others.

Broadway Building Contractors consists of Ken and Dennis Cisar and Dennis' son Jarred. You always want three things in a contractor. Value, Quality and speed. Pick two because you can't have all three. I received value and quality from BBC. They added

about 1000 sq ft of quality living space to my home. In the bed room they had to cut through the side of the house to put in two 30" wide casement windows. It looks like they have always been there. They added a full bath with a second door into the electrical room.

The fan exhaust is so inconspicuous that I did not notice it. They made a recommendation of the flooring that is terrific. They also insulated the ceiling so that the basement is virtually sound proof.



They did all their own work except for the carpeting on the stairs and two large cabinets that they had custom built. I was doing some of my own plumbing and electrical work upstairs and they bailed me out of a couple tight spots where I would have had to call in a electrician or a plumber. They also repaired so Sandy damage to the house facia at a fraction of what the insurance company estimated.



All in all, I have a space that   am proud of and happy to show family and friends. The BBC gentlemen are very nice guys. More to the point they are professional, competent and I might add, neat. I would engage them again if I project.

In the Master Bathroom, it was tiled:- starting with 20x20 Porcelain floor tiles, 10x20 porcelain wall tiles, custom border  and 2x2 tiles on the shower floor.
Adding a futuristic freestanding "Aquatica" acrylic tub with a lloor-mount tub filler; having the shower enclosure removed, and the shower footprint extended by approx three feet;( this involved removing a triple-wide window and adding a double-wide window to increase the available wall area inside); fitted with a conventional shower head as well as a flush ceiling-mounted rain tile, all with a new custom glass shower enclosure as well as custom-made espresso-stained maple vanities with Kohler faucets and sinks, as well as a new Toto Toilet and new lighting; Mirror-mounted lights and new ceiling lighting - this was the Master Bathroom to dream of.
The "His" bathroom has an identical-designed custom vanity, identically tiled as per the Master Suite and similar Kohler sinks and faucets. Similar mirror-mounted lighting was added.
The Guest Bathroom had new custom-made vanities as above, with the same Kohler faucets, sinks, bath, shower and tub filler, with another Toto toilet. The bath enclosure had the 1' Soffit removed and was tiled from floor to ceiling, as well as the whole room floor-tiled.
All of the above work involved the planning, design and advisory skills of Broadway Building Contractors. Their professionalism and willingness to work with us on making limited changes as the work progressed resulted in us having three dream areas in our late '80's house.
They efficiently tore down the old rooms and began the work. Planning plumbing; Fabulous tiling; excellent shower construction; working with the Cabinet-maker on the vanities, and the Glass Company for the shower; Electrical work for the lighting; and completing it all with painting the rooms.
As with all projects there were some unexpected challenges along the way, but Broadway Building Contractors worked to overcome each one with the overall project goal in mind; An example was that the instructions for how to mount the Kohler floor-mounted Tub Filler made for a difficult installation, but they were able to be creative and find a solution
I used this small family-owned Company previously, and their work was timely, professional, competent, and their belief that quality matters, makes a difference.
They were a natural for us to use for this substantially-expensive project, where the finished product was expected to be perfect for the homeowner.
If you want quality work - hire Broadway Building Contractors; If you want to save money and potentially be unhappy with the end result - take someone elses'  cheaper estimate.

Ken was very prompt and professional. His estimate came in lower than two others, making me wonder if the quality would be there, but I couldn't be happier with the job. It was completed in a timely manner and the workmanship was good. Ken kept in communication with me and returned my calls in a timely manner. I have called  him for an estimate on installing a set of stairs off a second floor porch.

Overall, they are NOT the least expensive, so if that's what you're looking for they're not for you. HOWEVER, they make up for it in QUALITY. Their work is always impeccable and on-time (Weather Permitting)
