Hardware & Home Improvement Stores
I have used Ackroyd's Hardware since the current owner's grandfather had a tiny store that contained EVERYTHING that anyone could ever need. If you wanted a specific screw or a bolt or a tool, Mr. Ackroyd would go to a crowded shelf and, voila! there it would be.
His grandson now runs the store in a much larger space but still sells everything anyone could possibly need from curtain rods to cleaning products to high-end tools to gardening tools to grill covers to new keys to light bulbs to screens . . . .
There is always staff available to assist, and if ever you need to return or exchange a product, doing so is simple.
Ackroyd's is a great community service and I recommend them most enthusiastically.
