Steel Blades Landscaping

He did what we asked for the landscaping for the house, although we thought the mulch could have been a little deeper for what we paid. We were in a bind because the tractor we ordered to plow our driveway wouldn't be in for a few months, and we tried calling a bunch of places to do snow removal for us and they were already booked for the season. Jeff took us on as a client and managed to use his truck to plow our scary driveway (everyone who comes to our house says that about it) and one time when it was iced over he managed to back the truck up the driveway and salt it like that. He would always respond when we called him to ask about when he would be able to do our driveway after the storm. For the drain, the trench he dug is not completely straight, but he said it was because of rocks under the soil, and that could be true after seeing the base of the trench he dug at the top (solid rock across the back of our pad). But he put in the landscape fabric, gravel, and river rock to top it off, and it is draining off the water on our hill which was what we wanted. He disposed of the dug soil by extending the hill our garage sits on, which worked out well. The electric pole was set really well. We had a question about the trench while it was still open and he came out right away in the pouring rain to answer our question.

It could not have gone better. Jeff and his team did a great job, on time and at the agreed upon price. No issues whatsoever. I would highly recommend Jeff.

Although there were some issues that had to be resolved along the way, the final product looks great and I am very pleased with the result.  I have received several compliments about the installed wall.  Several neighbors have asked how much the work cost.  All of them thought it was very good price.
I would use Jeff again.

Owner Jeff is a liar.  Stopped cutting grass and could not give me a reason.  Lied about receiving payments.  Lied about family living in area.  Lied about sending invoices.  Lied about sending termination notice. Having a quote and saying he will provide service for the summer of 2014 means nothing to him.  He has absolutely no clue as to what he is doing.  He will never return your calls and when you are lucky enough that he answers the phone he always tells you he didn't get your call.  Don't really understand how he stays in business at all.  I wanted to pass this along to anyone looking for lawn mowing service that you would save yourself a lot of problems by NEVER calling Steel Blades Landscaping.
