About us
Metro Restoration Cleaning Service, Inc. was founded in 1994 to meet the need for quality restoration of properties damaged by fire, smoke, water, mold and natural disasters. We have been servicing the restoration and remediation industry since 1975. Owner Lloyd Hyde is an A.C.A.C. Council Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor and a A.C.A.C. Council Certified Indoor Environmentalist. He is also certified with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (I.I.C.R.C). He holds memberships in the Indoor Air Quality Association, and The National Institute for Indoor Air Quality. We are certified with the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (I.I.C.R.C.) and the American Council for Accredited Certification (A.C.A.C.). This means we have taken an advanced training programs and courses of study enabling us to follow technical specifications and standard operating procedures. This also means that we have established and maintained a professional attitude in our conduct and in our business practices to provide the best possible service at a reasonable price. We make every effort possible to keep our costs under control, from our overhead expense to our labor force and materials purchasing. This allows our firm to be competitive with our pricing, yet maintain satisfied customers and provide quality service.

The Metro Restoration & Cleaning team removed all mold in a customized process: sanitized areas with surface mold, dried all damp areas and follow-up tested for mold to be sure all was removed.

Five months later, the insurance company wanted to evaluate my basement for themselves. I heard they were going to say there is no actual proof of contamination and the basement is fine. I email Lloyd to simply ask him a question which was, "If no mold spores are visible by this time, does that mean I?m safe from any bacteria or air quality that could evolve in the future due to the past sewage flood?" I explained to him the situation and just wanted to know if I should accept their statement or debate the issue. Lloyd emailed me back and told me that he was going to change his schedule and meet with them on my behalf. He knew it would be difficult for me to defend anything they will have to say and that it would be a one sided debate. Now that's a stand-up person. Here is a man who is a complete stranger to me and yet he was willing to change his schedule around to help me. Not too many people would go out of their way to do that and certainly not a company. So I highly recommend Lloyd Hyde and Metro Restoration and Cleaning.

"We thank the customer for choosing METRO Restoration to perform her mold remediation. Upon seeing the post on Angie's list we immediately called her to schedule an appointment to inspect the job to ensure a quality service was provided. To date she has not called us to schedule this appointment. We did provide her with several options and even Masonry painting of her basement so it looked the best as she was selling her home. It did take several months before she made a decision to schedule the remediation. We had several options available for her which was the remediation cost, general cleaning and masonry painting cost. After she signed the proposal we reviewed it and found an error in our writings. We decided to paint the area we provided the remediation at no additional cost to the customer. However, it was clear on the proposal that the masonry paint was an additional charge. Our crew took photos before, during and after the job and everything in those looked fine. We are awaiting her call for a re-inspection at this time."
"We were taken back by the homeowners comments on Angie's list. After viewing this we immediately called him to schedule a re-inspection the house to verify that we provided the remediation properly as we have never had comments like this. I found that he had 2/3 of the attic insulated with new materials. The areas that were not insulated were visible clean and mold free. The paper that he stated we did not remove was minimal as we scraped down the sheathing twice. This material was so old it was stuck to the surfaces of the rafters and sheathing. We did not know of any paper as this house was not insulated to any standard. After the removing plastic, insulation and heavy foil we then could scrape the paper. We completely spray sanitized and scrubbed the surfaces to kill and remove the mold. I saw that the surfaces were clean and free of mold contamination. We provide our services of mold remediation by industry standard S 520. These services were completed and in accordance to that standard. We also had 28 man hours on this job and not 7. A little difference. We also had 60-70 bags of insulation and debris were removed as part of this project. I had asked about a competors quote and then the homeowner showed me a proposal from another remediation company that was 12% higher. Looks like our price isn't so bad. A final note; We provided a written proposal in detail with an accepted agreed price. The work was completed in a professional manner, on time and to industry standards with no visible mold left behind.."

feeling about this. My father had come
down ill and we felt that cleaning the ducts would help. They came out right away (the following week)
and right before a holiday. He said they
put booties over their shoes so they wouldn?t get dirt in the house. They explained everything in detail, showed
him the mess they cleaned out of the ducts( including a tie that had been in
there for many years), and were very punctual.
They then cleaned up their mess, wiped the outside of the vents off in
the house and left. He said it did not
take long, it did not blow any dust into the house. I will be using them again and I have already
recommended them to a friend.
