After getting into a bathroom renovation we could not complete without help, we requested quotes from a few electricians to install a light fixture. Once we knew how much it would cost to bring someone in, we decided to take care of a number of repair projects required throughout the house. JW Peters not only finished the electrical work in the bathroom but replaced or repaired about 10 indoor plug sockets - including a complicated floor mounted one -- and two outdoor ones that were original to the house (circa 1956). It took Don about 1.5 days to complete all of the work. Eric did the quote and was professional and thorough, and Don could not have been more professional and friendly while he completed the work. He cleaned up all his work area, and was even kind to the dog. I would recommend JW Peters for any household electrical work. We have a few others projects coming up, and we will definitely go back to them again.

They came out to look at the job and give an estimate. They sent me an email with instructions to fill out the proposal and mail it in along with a 100 dollar deposit. They cashed the check and I never heard from them again despite contacting them twice by phone. They said they'd look into and get back to me but never did. I purchased 150 dollars worth of parts for them to install that are still sitting in my a garage a year later. Lesson learned. Never pay up front until work begins! I don't know how these guys got an A rating on here. Very disappointed with Angie's List and this so called electrician.

It went good.

We called them yesterday and they were out today. It only took 20 minutes to complete the work. I have recommended them to many people. I wouldn't call anyone else for electrical. I have used them forever. He told me he would send a bill. Jeff was the name of the technician who came out.

It was a local person that my parents used. I have been happy with everyone.

They were great. They did nice work. They came when they said they would. It didn't take as long. The people with the company were great. They are reasonably price.

Outstanding!  We are extremely satisfied and will contact J.W. Peters Electric Co. for all of our electrical needs in the future.  We are so pleased that we found them through Angie's List.

We have had Peters Electric work at our home on multiple occasions and have always been 100% pleased with their work.  Often, I even get the same technician. 
This time, he removed an old outdoor floodlight from VERY high on the outside of my house.  He capped that, and in it's place, he installed a motion detector light for me.  He even checked to see how tall our ladder is to know where to hang the new light so we can now reach it to change the bulbs!  He also put an outdoor electrical outlet on our front porch.  He had to cut through the brick in order to do this one, but he did a great job and cleaned up whatever mess was made. 
I will definitely continue to call Peters when I have electrical needs.

To this day, the heat pump is working great.  Mr. Peterson was professional, ascertained the issues quickly and resolved them quickly.  He came at the time scheduled and cleaned up so well that you could not a repairman was ever onsite.
I have used Petersen Electric several times:  he has even replaced the temperature gauge in my water tank which was working improperly (causing the water to stay at one temperature no matter temperature the tank was set) to replacing the motor in my refrigerator. In an all-electric home, these savings do add up.
I would defintely recommend this vendor.

They are really great at what they do. They have one man on staff that is really good at diagnosing problems. They are very professional and a top of the line company.

They did the electrical work necessary to install a mini-split heat pump and put in a GFI outlet for a separate purpose. They promptly came out for the estimate and then did follow up to set up an appointment to do the work. They were professional in all their dealings with us as well as with the contractor installing the mini-split. We would definitely contact them again for future work.

Extremely prompt call back from office.  Very quick service ~ I am very pleased.  It took less than an hour to perform the work needed, and the gentleman that came to my house was VERY nice.  The office people are also very nice.  I'm terrible at remembering names (sorry), but the lady who answers the phones there is wonderful.  I definitely use this company again if I have any problems.  I would highly recommend them.  (Unsure of exact date of service)
