Gee Bee Asphalt Paving

I would NOT recommend this contractor. George may seem nice, but he’s a butcher. I have a manhole cover in my driveway. HE measured it incorrectly and bought the wrong size. He attempted to tell me that I had to pay for it anyway. He said the company that he bought it from didn’t accept returns. I contacted the company directly and discovered he was LYING. I have SEVERAL low spots in my driveway as does my neighbors driveway that he did. DO NOT USE HIM!

We were warned about GeeBee paving from an individual that worked for Bethel Park.  We decide we weren't going to use his services as he was higher priced than other estimates we had gotten.  However, George showed up unannounced with his crew and trucks.  We had no signed contract...big mistake.  Make sure anything he says he will do for you is put down in writing.  We needed to get this job done as we had just moved into the house.  We agreed to let him do the job as we were kind of pressured into it, with his crew there and the trucks there.  Very bad decision.  Some of the driveway was paved very nicely.  Unfortunately, some of it was not.  The garage door bottom had a several inch gap for over half the length of the garage door.  I had to buy asphalt patch to build this area up.  It is still there today.  Literally any rodent could have entered through the gap.  The driveway had large puddles because it was not graded properly.  In the winter this becomes large sheets of ice.  The driveway was supposed to be paved with a slant away from the garage door.  George paved the driveway so a large portion of it drains into the direction of the house.  This overworks the pump and if there is a large downpour the water will get into the garage.  During the day of paving George was screaming at his crew, we were shocked with the unprofessional manner in which he dealt with his crew.  He tried to charge me more money for rocks that he brought in, saying he didn't account for them.
I addressed the issues with George, he didn't care.  I could go on and on but I believe I have gotten my point across. 
I sued George and won, he kept appealing his loss with his attorney.  I couldn't afford an attorney.  After 2 years and no fix on the driveway I gave up.
If you decide to use GeeBee make sure you get everything in writing. 

Job went very well, the estimate was provided promptly. When the estimate was delivered, we signed the contract. He was there the next day to complete the job.

George, his son, and their crew of 2 additional men (on our job) did an outstanding job. They were very thorough and careful. The job was completed over 2 days because of the size of the driveway. They cleaned up completely after both days. The job started and ended when George stated it would. They have alot of heavy equipment, so clearly they do alot of jobs. I would highly recommend them with no reservations. The price was extremely fair and we are very pleased with the outcome. George and his crew are very friendly and courteous.
