I started using them a year before that because my garage door wouldn't open, and my car was stuck inside, and I was calling around to see who could come the fastest. I needed my car immediately, and they showed up whereas others said they would show up in a few days. They were very honest about explaining what was wrong, and they told me how I can save myself the money. We discussed if I needed to get a new garage door, but they said they didn't really recommend it at that time because it was working really well and it was a lot better than some other stuff out there, so I really appreciated their honesty.

Emma Garage did a great job! The tension cable broke on the drive for our automatic garage door due to wear and tear. The door would open manually without the cable, but it was difficult to do so. I called Dan Emma on a Friday evening. Dan was willing to come out first thing the next day (Saturday), and was punctual in arriving at our house. Dan assessed the situation, explained that the repair would involve replacing the tension cable and chain as they were a tandem unit, and got right to work. The work was done efficiently, and the door was working again in short order. The overall cost was very reasonable. Dan was pleasant and professional. I would recommend Emma Garage Doors without reservation.

Dan responded promptly to my telephone message and came by the same day to assess the problem with the lift mechanism on our 35+-year-old garage door. He provided two estimates .... one for repair (if a replacement part could be found) and one for installation of a new lift mechanism ... during this visit. After receiving the go-ahead for the repair the next morning, he arrived on schedule that same day with the necessary repair part, quickly installed the new part, made all necessary adjustments and reset the controls on the lift mechanism, and lubricated the system .... which now works better than ever.

Dan immediately came and gave us an estimate, and came back and did the work within a couple of days. The price was reasonable,and he was very knowlegeable, professional, and punctual. He did a great job and really took the time to understand our needs since we will probably only be keeping the garage door for a couple more years.

The coil broke in the afternoon. Emma door arrived that same afternoon to determine which parts were needed. The next day the new coils were installed. What a relief to have the repair go so smoothly and quickly.

Dan returned my call almost immediately and gave me an accurate over-the-phone estimate for what I was looking for. We scheduled the installation in just two days. He was exactly on-time for the installation and worked quickly. Dan was professional and a good communicator about what needed to be done and how he would perform the tasks. Dan explained the adjustments he made to the door and also the operation of the new opener. We installed a 1/2HP opener with two remotes and an outside keypad. Exceptional work, efficient, good cleanup, and fair price. He gave me estimates for some other work I may have done and I would definitely contact him again for the work. Thanks Dan!

They had a wide selection to choose from and I really like the door I got. I think the price I paid was good but I really don't remember the total. I am happy and would recommend them to others.

When we moved in over a year ago, one of the remotes for the garage door opener was inoperable. Mr. Emma had a used remote which he programmed for our opener. The cost was $30 total. The other company I had called about the problem was going to charge $75 just to come to the house, and that didn't include fixing or replacing the remote. This fall, the opener stopped working. Mr. Emma came the same day I called and gave us an estimate for replacing the gear, which was the problem, and also quoted the price of a new opener. We opted for the new opener, because the old one was nine years old, and the garage door is very heavy. He installed it the next day.
