Certified Radon

This company is very professional in all aspects.  They were reliable, clean, prompt, reasonable in price, and installed a very nice system in our home.  I would highly recommend Certified Radon if you are interested in testing your home or mitigating high Radon levels.

Certified Radon entered the home on 4/10/14 and picked up the unit on 4/12/14. We were promptly emailed a report with the readings. Unfortunately the readings were above the EPA recommended level of 4.0pCi/L. Mr. Joyce included a list of recommended mitigation companies (all which have A ratings on Angie's List) as well as a Consumers Guide to Radon Reduction. The information they provided was very informative.

Rebecca is awesome! She fully explained what she was doing, since we were doing so many tests at one time she offered a substantial discount ($125), and her reports were thorough and easy to follow. She was there when she said she would be, and was very easy to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about Certified Radon. Jon and Rebecca have been a godsend as we have went through the house buying process. Not only did they do testing for two houses through the inspection stage, but now that we purchased one and I was concerned the radon levels were still too high - they have come out time and time again (after this upcoming week - Jon will have come out three times). Just so there is no confusion - they charge every time - but because they know we are going through a rough time with the radon levels (and I will find someone else to pay for this since it was supposed to have been handled since before we moved in!) - they have given me a discount. Their punctuality is so prompt that Jon gave me a window of "I'll be there between 8:45 and 9am to drop off the box" and he was! Never in my life has someone given such a small window and actually made it on time. In addition, they are quick to respond, quick to get results back and quite frankly - you can trust their results because they don't do anything but test radon levels (versus, for example, do radon mitigation AND radon testing). Quite frankly, the reason I have had to use them so much is because the previous sellers utilized a company that - I believe - falsifies radon results (the person who did the testing is actually not licensed in the state of PA to do testing! I called the DEP to check!). Anyway, I love that I can trust the results of Certified Radon. I don't care how much it costs, I will call them every time as I feel that they really do focus on keeping my family safe. Great people. Great company.
