I called Nick at Apex because I was in a jam. My brother in law and I were trying to build a paver patio on our own. I had bought all materials, and thought it would be a 1 or 2 day process. Well, we were mistaken. It seemed that my yard was not level and would need a lot of work to become level. That is where Nick came in. Nick showed up within an hour of calling him, and stated that he could start on Monday (2 days later). He believed that it would take the week to finish, and I was fine with that. I had to have the patio ready for a party 2 weeks later. I only wanted Nick to install the patio, but I would do the surrounding landscaping myself. They showed up daily to work on the project, but were interrupted by a very bad storm system for 2 days. They also encountered a layer of rock that could not be broken through, so the game plan had to change. I understood, and went along with the changes. When all was said and done, the patio came out very nice, and we are very pleased with the final result. I would definitely hire Nick again for any landscaping job that I cannot do myself.

Just prior to the sale of our family home it became necessary to regrade earth along the back area. Old growth bushes needed to be completely removed and a good compound mixture (dirt and clay) filled in to strict specifications. Moreover, this work needed to be accomplished within a few days of request. Apex owner Nick Stavropulos, who works extensively in our South Hills neighborhood and knows the terrain well, went out of his way to quote the job on the weekend after Thanksgiving. and complete the work to our and an inspector's satisfaction by Tuesday afternoon. Our experience with Mr. Stavropulos was entirely positive. He offers an array of lawn care and landscaping services and had we remained in the community we certainly would have hired him on a regular basis. His company is small, and customers have the advantage of enjoying personalized, honest and fair service from this personable young business owner. Highly recommended!
