I was very satisfied with what they did. I had a bit of a problem one year, but they were cooperative. Mike is very nice, helpful, cleans up when he leaves, and tells me how to store things.

Alpine pools is a wonderful provider of pool service. They opened my pool. And I use them for all of my chemicals because the staff is very helpful, kind, and fun. I haven't even priced out chemicals anywhere else because I trust alpine. One thing they could improve on is getting back to customers when promising a phone call. I had a part that was back ordered and had trouble trying to find out its status. But overall I highly recommend the gang at alpine. Mike did our opening and was a huge help. Pools are new to me and he stuck around and showed me the ins and outs of pools.

They have come to my house now about 5 times. Each time they were able to fix the heat issue but it only lasted a day or 2. It seemed they just didnt understand or were able to diagnose the real underlining problem.
While they haven't billed me, I've had to deal with them now for over two months. They have been nice and responsive but just lack the skill from my perspective.

We have had a constant stream of problems with both the pool and the hot tub.

The people at Alpine are nice enough but the quality of the work just isn't there. From the ladder for the pool being assembled wrong and later falling completely apart to the water lines falling off of the heater and flooding the pool and damaging the liner, there has been one problem after another.

I do have to give Alpine credit for trying to fix the problems but many of the and quot;fixesand quot; ended up causing more problems than they solved. For example, the area around the pool was flooded because they were trying to fix a leaking water line coming from the heater. Although they did replace the liner at the end of the season and the only cost to me was refilling the pool.

There were a similar number of problems with the hot tub. For example, the cover lifter that they sold us with the hot tub couldn't lift the cover. We also had to empty and refill the hot tub several times because of bad advice that they gave us concerning balancing the water for this model of hot tub and because they added chemicals once or twice without talking to us first.

One of the parts on the hot tub was defective when it was delivered and, after wrangling over it all summer, they finally agreed to order a replacement part. Three months later and we are still waiting for them to receive the part. I finally got sick of waiting and found a place online where I could buy it and received it in two weeks.

I don't want to go into the complete list of problems that we had as some of them weren't completely Alpine's fault. But it would not be an exaggeration to say that we had to call them back at least ten times to fix things.

Alpine arranged for a landscape company to dig out the pool area. The next rain-free day the pool was installed. They installed the pool and a french drain around the pool, all in one day. They cleaned the area up after the pool installation and made sure that we understood the steps necessary to get the pool filled correctly and completely. Since the installation, they have been very helpful with instructions on how to keep the water in the pool perfect. I will continue to use them for chemicals and advice.

The quality of the final work product was average, but their professionalism was poor. We just moved into this house so we were using the jacuzzi everyday. They had to drain it to replace a bench. They had to order some parts for the bench. So I asked them to please call and tell me when they would return to do the work. They did not call. I called and left them a message, but they did not return my call. I sent an email, but still no response. I assumed they had ordered the parts, so I waited a week and called them again. This time I connected, but they said they hadn't ordered anything because they didn't know what color to order! But they didn't ask me what color and wouldn't return my calls. When the work was finished, they told me the water was turned back on to my boiler, so I fired up my boiler. But they hadn't turned the water back on. Luckily I quickly figured out they hadn't turned the water back on. It could have destroyed my boiler (a $10,000 replacement). A leak occured while they were working on the jacuzzi, and when they finished the air wasn't working on in the jets. In both instances, they tried to tell me I caused the problems. But I had not touched the jacuzzi since they started working on it! They didn't completely clean up their mess. I don't know how they stay in business. It would have taken only a small effort to be professional. It would have taken only a small effort to get an A instead of a D.

I have used this service for the past two years. They installed our above ground swimming pool two summers ago (the only company we found that would install a used swimming pool). We have continued to use their expertise for water testing service, chemical adjustments and supplies. They tend to be a little expensive, but their advice is well worth it. They test water for free and make recommendations for what chemicals are needed. The staff are terrific! They are friendly and professional. As a first time pool owner, they provided a 45 minute one on one training about the chemicals as well as a free DVD to help with the task associated with pool maintenance. The staff answer questions on the phone all the time and always have good tips and ideas for problems associated with the pool/water. I prefer this location over other stores, but it is not convenient to my house. I often make a special trip to open and close the pool because I trust their consultations and advice.
