They did top quality work.  They were honest and dependable.  I will absolutely use John Kras for all future building projects.  It was really easy to communicate with John.  If I needed something, I called or emailed and he would respond within 15 minutes.  The other places I got bids from had a lot more phone tag.  A neighbor had used him and highly recommended him to us.  We already had our bids, but as I said, communication was so effortless that it was easy to ask him for a bid.  He ended up being the cheapest.  (Some bids were from diy guys working by themselves out of their trucks.  Those bids were cheaper, but I had my concerns about quality.)  I couldn't be happier with my decision.  

John Kras was excellent.  Trustworthy, high-quality work.  I really can't say enough good things.  Everything was on time, on budget, and clearly and efficiently communicated.  We have had no problems since the renovation.  He just does things right.  We went with him because he had the best combination of price and professionalism.  We really lucked out, because so many of our friends have had problems with their contractors.
