Red's Roofing Siding Specialist

My landlord hired this company. I'm a renter of the home that Red's Roofing worked on. I was in contact with my landlord about when they would be coming and going to complete the job. They told my landlord they would be here on a Saturday. Then, they showed up on a Friday afternoon, drove their truck onto my lawn and dropped 3 pallets on my lawn- WITHOUT PERMISSION. When I asked the owner if they were coming the following day he said " No, Tuesday" and then drove off. I bit my tongue. Then they showed up Monday afternoon and drove their truck onto my lawn AGAIN to drop and entire trailer hitch in my front lawn next to the pallets. Before I could run outside and tell them to move they drove off. I called and left a message to which they communicated to my landlord that they would buy me fertilizer. Tuesday came and the roof was completed. The workers were very kind but the owner was very rude. They never bought my fertilizer and my lawn was ruined. They didn't do a very good job picking up the nails and I have 2 dogs so I was very unhappy with that as well. Fast forward 3 weeks and they did my neighbors roof. They had to come back twice to correct their mistakes. First they didn't tarp the side of his house and stained in with Tar during the removal process. Then secondly, they never removed the debris from the gutters even though they promised they did. The owner ended up firing someone during the job- talk about a terrible business owner. My neighbor found over 110 roofing nails in his lawn and the neighbors lawn even though they "combed it with a magnet". DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Overall I will tell others of this business

Hostile, nasty man!  Very disrespectful, if you want someone to do a poor job, not respect your home, and then treat you badly when you call him back with a problem....This is your contractor!

Hired them to put new roof on my home.  Was supposed to start last week of Oct.  Never answered my phone calls, till requested deposit back, never started on job till after thanksgiving!  They subcontracted the job out (without discussing it with me)  The crew that was hired, thought it would be a good idea to drink a case of beer on the roof.  Left the yard a mess, still picking up roofing tiles and nails out of yard.  The nails they used on the back porch were too long and see them sticking through the underside.

One week after tear off and new roof put on, It leaked on the back porch. 

Water was coming into attic n the spring, left multiple msgs.  Left final msg, telling him I was very upset...did not swear.  Called him again, and Harry said he didn't like "my tone" and hung up on me.  Sent out worker who slapped tar around a pipe. (no flashing)  Water came into house again when it rained.  Had new contractor look at it, he discovered  when it rained that gutters were clogged with the old roof material.  Realized all gutters were clogged, called Red's Roofing explained the problem.  He was disrespectful on the phone, and down right nasty when he showed up at my home.  He refused to reimburse me new contractor fee or even discuss water damage.

He laughed when I showed him 40+ nails I picked out of yard, and said, "Is that all?"
