Berks Energy Heating & Air Conditioning

Did not listen to my needs as far as a/c was concerned. We needed repair in our one room where only one vent was working and never fixed or gave an estimate. They were only concerned about getting in and out! Tried calling after the fact to try one more time and called back once, I returned the call left another message and then heard Nothing! Will Never use again!!!!!!!!

This is the second time I've used Berks Energy for HVAC services (see review dated 06/01/2015). After reading my previous review, I can say that Jeff and his team still live up to exactly what I said about them nearly 5 years ago. They were absolutely outstanding, from start to finish. The price was more than fair, the workmanship was first class, and his staff were punctual, respectful, and personable. Thank you, Jeff and team, for another wonderful experience. It's been a pleasure. You have a customer for life!

Excellent service with professional staff. Rare to find both combinations in today's world. You won't be disappointed with Jeff and his company.

New Amana A/C system works great. Job went better than expected. Have not had any problems since installation.

Arrived on time, very efficient.  Workers were pleasant and knowledgeable.  Answered all our questions.  Prices were competitive and reasonable.  Would recommend this service.

This is my third major installation with Berks Energy. Jeff and crew show up when they say the will. Work is done in a professional and workmanlike manner. No issues with installation or quality of work. I will go nowhere else. Very happy.

Performed service check and re-charged outdoor AC unit. Working OK again. Still working well after 1 month.

I made my first call and he could not make the appointment which was fine because at least I had a/c. The service man came and told me my system was frozen and we had to turn it off so it thawed and then he could work on it. Repairs seem to have been made but then the very next day I had more water in my basement so I called again and they came out and fixed it again. I just was not happy that I was asked to pay two service charges because I was having the same issue...water in my basement. I feel everything should have been checked and covered under one service call. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and hope it does not drain water in my basement again. Jeff and his service man were courteous and respectful.

Jeff made an appointment for us and within two days came out to our house. He answered all of our questions, was very informative and knowledgeable, and even leveled off the outside air conditioner unit. Overall, his professionalism is why we will certainly call him for any future needs.

Jeff and his team are great! They were punctual, professional and thorough. They were able to answer any and all questions I had about the unit before they left. I will definitely be using Berks Energy in the future!

Jeff did a fantastic job, was very thorough and conscientious about the house and not making a mess. Did a fantastic job taking out the old heater and installation looks super. He is professional and is a great guy to deal with. I would recommend him and use him again without question.

Jeff responded to my non working heater Emergency call in a flash. He made it out to our home the same day. While servicing our heater he quickly solved the mystery...CLOGGED CHIMNEY! He went above and beyond trying to unclog it. After making sure he exhausted all efforts, he gave us many options to choose from. We chose to have him install a power vent and bypass our chimney. He was back at our home 3 days later. Jeff and coworker were on time & professional. They quickly got to work and even saved us from a possible fire hazard! I can't thank them both for a job well done! It's hard to find kind & trustworthy people, I highly recommend Jeff @ Berks Energy Heating and Air Conditioning! I will definitely be calling them next year for our yearly heater cleaning!

He quickly identified the problem while two others that gave estimates were uncertain. He gave us three price options to choose from depending on what level of energy efficiency we wanted. He responded to our call the same day and had the work completed two days later which included getting the new unit. He also saved us several hundred dollars by explaining we did not need something the other two estimates said we needed.

Our hot water heater failed on Christmas Day.  I called a few companies, and Jeff was the most responsive and went out of his way the most to find me a quality water heater as promptly as possible.
Jeff communicated well throughout the process of the project and he showed up on time and dressed professionally for his trade.
Jeff called me to follow-up the evening of the completion of the project to make sure that the system was working properly and that me and my wife were pleased with his workmanship.
I would use Jeff again and I recommend his professional services.

We were very happy we choose Berks Energy to do a very difficult installation of a whole new central air system.  It was a hot spell in August 2015.  Second Floor Central Air Conditioner stopped running.  We called Berks Energy on a Monday, they provided a quote on Wed and by Friday Aug 14, 2015, we were up and running with our brand new Amanna ASX16030 Condensor and a multi-speed air handeler.  The installation of the Air Handler was difficult as it was on the third floor attic.  The Temp. was well over 100 degrees.  I would recommend them to any of my friends.

I found Jeff through all of his great reviews on Angie's List. In October 2013 Jeff installed a completely new AC, heating system with duct work in a 60 year old home I had purchased for rehab. It was not an easy job... this home was previously heated with a coal stove and hot water running through the floors. He had to start from scratch. The job he did was amazing! His professionalism and care for his customers is top notch! I was reminded of this today when he returned to the house for a minor issue that needed to be taken care of! And it reminded me that I forgot to post my own review for him! Jeff will be on speed dial for all my heating and cooling needs! Thanks Jeff! You rock!

Berks Energy is rated A's across the board for a reason.  I simply can't say enough about Jeff and his team.  From the initial estimate through to installation, they were punctual, courteous and professional.  Not only did Jeff provide the most reasonable quote out of the 3 vendors I selected, but he went above and beyond to ensure my experience and satisfaction exceeded 100% every step of the way.
Jeff arrived for the estimate at the exact time we agreed upon, carefully listened to my requests, and promptly provided a couple of quotes that included everything from materials to labor (soup to nuts), with a guarantee that no hidden charges or gotchas would be added to the price agreed upon.  Jeff even agreed to keep my heat pump on the roof, which other vendors refused to do!  He knew this was important to us, so he wanted to make it happen.
On the day of the installation, his crew arrived at 9 AM on the dot (the time I expected them).  They carefully surveyed the areas where they would be working, cautiously moved items out of the way, and even laid down cardboard to ensure dirt wasn't tracked through the house.  They were very amicable, courteous, and respectful of my family and my home.  They completed the entire job in about 6 hours.  Finally, before they left, Jeff actually swept my kitchen floor after removing the cardboard!  This was the cherry on top.  What a pro.  I highly recommend Berks Energy!!!
