PINE CREEK KENNELS

From the first phone call, I know I am dealing with professionals.  My calls are usually answered quickly, and call-backs are always prompt.  For example, I called at a time that the kennel owner (Karen) was not at her desk.  She told me she would call back within ten minutes.  She called back with an answer to my question within ten minutes.  When I make boarding arrangements, staff always asks what time I will arrive.  They go out of their way to accomodate my schedule.  I have even called last minute on a holiday weekend.  The kennel was very busy, but they were able to take my pets anyway.  Upon arrival at the kennel, I never smell an unpleasant odor.  The owner prefers to use cleaning products that are non-toxic to pets, but are still effective.  My dog, Bubba, is always excited to go to Pine Creek.  We get him into the car by saying "Wanna go see Karen?" and he wags his tail and jumps into the car.  When we arrive at the kennel, the staff takes Bubba to his room and sets up his blanket on his bed, his toys, and opens his door to the outside run.  They then ask me to sign a boarding agreement which states in detail feeding and care instructions.  I was impressed by the seperate facilities to keep the dogs seperate from the cats, thus reducing stress for the cats.  There is a large fenced in play yard with a sand/water area, tunnel to run through, and a shade tent.  Staff allows each dog their own outside playtime each day.  My dog is always happy and healthy when we come to pick him up.  Staff have also taken pictures of Bubba during his stay to give to me at pick up time.  Overall, I have to say that if my pets can not stay at Pine Creek when we go away, I will change my plans so that they can.
