Unlike some other plumbing services, Carney only hires experienced pros. Nothing is a mystery, nothing is impossible. He also is extremely punctual - especially helpful when the water level is starting to rise in your basement.

Called Roger for emergency service on a Saturday. He arrived within an hour. Very courteous and took care of the problem immediately.

I called 2 days prior requesting last minute help with this because another plumber couldn't come and we were having a new floor layed within a week. They agreed to fit our job in and came 2 days after I called. Said they would be here at 11:30 possibly earlier and came earlier. The job was done within an hour. They were friendly, professional and also gave tips on saving money re: heating. So glad I saw them on Angie's List.

It went very well. He did not try to sell me any services that I did not need. He adjusted the faucet and everything worked fine. It's nice to have some honest people that do good work.

Our electric water heater stopped working. We called Roger Carney Plumbing Inc., the company that installed the unit in 1999. They called, as promised, before arriving at the scheduled time and arrived on time. The technician replaced the thermostats and heating elements in an hour and was professional in his behavior and answered our questions knowledgeably. The price seemed a little high but we had little experience upon which to based our impression.

Drain from clothes washer to main was severely clogged and had to be cleaned out using power equipment. I called the company and received a service date for 2 days later.Thetechnician arrived on time and completed the job in approximately 45 minutes. He tested the cleanout at least 3 times before leaving to make sure the entire blockage was removed. We have had no trouble since that time.

When my furnace was turned on for the winter, my carbon monoxide detector went off. Calling around, a company said that it probably was not the furance, but the water heater. This company only could help me if I was to buy a furnace from him. The next day, I called Carney for furnace/water heater help, and one person on staff was able to do both. He came out and did lots of furnace probes and meter readings, but found nothing unusual. He did notice that my tankliess water heater was incorrectly installed. He did not touch it - just told me how he knew it was incorrectly installed, and told me I needed to redo the entire gas line. They charge $85 for the furnace service call. In two days, the water heater stopped working. I called Carney again, and had to wait nearly two weeks for an appointment (because of the holidays, I suppose). The technician looked at everything, but did not open anything - he did not look into the water heater because he said it would cost me over $300 and he may not find anything. I paid the $49.50 water heater service charge. Nothing was resolved, but they were professional, knowledgeable and kind.

See above--it went really well and the plumbers demonstrated skill and patience.

They were great. They were efficient and professional although their price was a little on the high side. They were able to solve the problem and I am very satisfied with the work. They cleaned up really well and there wasn’t a speck of dirt left.

He always comes out on the day that I need him. His services are reasonably priced. He's just a nice man that's a pleasure to work with. His professional is just excellent.
