We had our driveway paved in March of this year (2025). They arrived when they said they would, they were very professional and efficient. They did great work, and explained what they were doing. My calls with questions were always responded to quickly. It is now the end of July, and the driveway looks great.

They did good work. My patio looks great! I should of had them clean around the patio more. I would hire them again. They did great work.

I have used Sunset Concrete on two major projects. First I used them to add a large stamped concrete patio to my old Fraternity house. The work was outstanding; it completed quickly and professionally! As a result I used them to enlarge the patio and back porch of my home with stamped concrete , along with adding connecting side walks and pouring a slab in the crawlspace below my house. Again the results were outstanding. They arrived on time and completed the work in three days! Highly recommended!

The concrete was to be colored a single color. I turned out very blotchy and inconsistent. They splashed concrete all over my siding and aluminum trim, which I am still trying to get off. The saw cut lines are not straight. I reached out to Sunset multiple times in an effort to have them come look at the finished product - no response or desire to stand behind their work and make it right. It has been 5 months and the color has not evened out as it cured. My only recourse now is to cover the awful looking concrete with paint/epoxy coating.

They were very fast, efficient. The previous company had done a terrible job and Sunset fixed all of their errors.

I had Sunset Concrete replace an aging asphalt two-car driveway (and turn-around extension) with a new completely concrete driveway (and turn-around extension) and an additional sidewalk extension running the full length of the garage the driveway fed. There were several aspects of this job that I felt made it more demanding than is usual. But throughout and in the end, Sunset showed themselves to be reliable, efficient, and expert in their craft. In my case they achieve beautiful results while delivering absolute best value. Team leader Sylvan showed true concern for the needs and wishes of the customer (me), was always willing to listen, and conveyed a simple sense of honesty and fairness that left me with great peace of mind. In my opinion our job was significantly more challenging than is typical: I was concerned that the uneven lay of our land might require compromises in a achieving a smooth uniform single-piece lay of concrete: the land was slanted different ways in different places, wavy throughout, crossed a slanted public sidewalk that contained a (during snowfall) hazardous dip that the concrete is required (by our Borough) to align with edge-to-edge and continuously, and the region beside my garage (where the sidewalk was to go) was about a foot lower than the driveway proper. But the result of Sunset's work is to my mind a beautiful sculpture that amazingly addressed all these requirements in a smooth unbroken flow. Having dealt with other contractors before coming across Sunset, there is no question now that they'd be the first I turn to for any future concrete work, and would recommend the same to anyone.
