Peachey Complete Chimney Service

I had my chimney cleaned by the father Marlin. The son Vincent came to install my boiler. It took several weeks to get them here and several weeks to install. Each time they came they quoted a time and were a minimum of 5 hours late! The access door for cleaning was never cemented in place and the boiler connection was improperly connected. The son Vincent told me I need my chimney cleaned. When I stated your dad cleaned it two months ago. Well you need a new chimney liner or my home would burn down. I called the father and ask him why he didn’t tell me I needed a liner. He made a lot of excuses and never answered the question while blaming my family member for exaggerating this statement. Vincent told me I needed the liner while staring at my chest in a very inappropriate way. Really gave me the creeps. After reading another review here on Angies list I wish I had read the reviews prior to hiring this establishment.

Not super nice to females, not punctual AT ALL! Took months for him to get in touch with us. Work was good but I just don't have months to wait for someone to contact me.

The project was done very quickly in two days.  The men were very nice and easy to deal with.  I thought his fees were very fair considering all he did.  We had no problems with the project.

I got the referral for Peachey  Complete Chimney Services by a couple of co-workers that high recommended them.
We called, but there was not machine to leave a message. They had called back a few minutes later. They have caller ID, so they returned our call. They gave us a ruff estimate over the phone, which was very promising ($800).
He was going to come to the house and give us a proper estimate.
They called on a Tuesday morning asking if we would be home. They were going to be in the area and wanted to stop by to check things out. We live in Runville, which is a small village out side of Bellefonte.
I told them my husband didn't have to be at work until 2pm, so anytime before that would be fine.
Well, unknown to me, my husband had made an appt. for 12:30pm and Peachey had not arrived before he left.
When I got home around 6pm, there was an estimate on the back porch. They must have eyeballed it since we where not home.

The estimate was for a little less then the phone estimate, so we agreed to go with this service. We called and left a message that we wanted to move forward with the chimney liner and to let us know when they would be available. They called back and said they would get back to us. This was on a Friday.
We took Monday off for a family event, but when we got home around 8pm, there was a bill on the back porch. Here Peachey had come and did the service. We found 3 messages on our machine, the last being at 4:15pm, they wanted to get the service in that day. So, Peachey was able to do the service even though we were not home.
(Note: we have outside access to our cellar where the furnace is. The door to the first floor was shut and our cellar is unfinished. We had no concerns about anyone being able to get into the rest of the house.)

They were quick, everything was cleaned up, nothing left behind.  Overall it was an very good experience. We will definitely use them again.

Family friend highly recommended.  Best estimate on work.  Turned out other vendors were pushing additional work that didn't need to be done.  Work completed in quick manner and workspace cleaned up.  I am pleased with his work and will use him again.
