I never got the puppy and in spite of numurous emails demanding my money back, I have not received it to thid day. This man did contact me a few weeks ago only he was now going by a business named Patrick"s Puppiestores and when I emailed him back demanding my money again, he has never responded to my email. I think he was trying one last attempt with me to get the $1000.00 he was requesting in our last correspondance in July. What he kept doing after he received the intial amount for the dog, he kept emailing me with more costs on things needed to ship the puppy and kept saying he would get part of the money from friends and family and that he wanted me to do the same so he could prevent the dog going into quarantine at my end. Every time the amounts kept getting larger and he kept saying he already spent the money I sent him on the airline ticket. First of all, dogs shipped within the US are not subject to quarantine and they do not reqire a$400.00 crate that he said was specified by the airline. I know these thing not to be true because I have a sister who bougt a puppy on the internet and she told me he was scaming me for things that just aren"t needed.
Description of Work: BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Do not respond to any adds this man has placed on PuppyFind.com advertising any breed of dog he may have for sale. This man is a scam artist and has a female accomplis helping him to scam people out of money for dogs he does not have. I encountered this man at the end of June with prospects of purchasing an 8 week old English Bulldog he had in Maryland at his home. Beware the low price on this breed of dog because any reputable breeder sells these dogs starting at $1800 and up. If you find any other ones below this price, it is more than likely to be another scam, so BEWARE of what you find on the website PuppyFind.com because the website is not interested in protecting the buyers from fraud because they are driven by the almighty dollar. They just want the ad and do not screen the people advertising on their site and they do nothing to help people who have been a victum of a scam by an advertiser on their site. Also beware of anyone saying the are a missionary located in Africa and have a puppy they need to find a home for back in the US because they either don't have time to care for the dog or the weather conditions their are bad for the dog. They will tell you that the only money they need from you is for the cost of shipping which is usually around $400.00, but realise this money is not for a dog it is blood money that is airmarked for West Africa and the US does not want any money going their. They usually give you the name of their assistant and the address is in Nigeria so BEWARE of these people as well.
