PAWLAK HEATING & CONDITIONING

Pawlak's One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning was excellent. At 4:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning I looked up heating on Angie's List. Pawlak's was at the top of this list with the most reviews and the highest rating. In my past experience these are the people that are impossible to get a hold of because they are so good, but I thought I would give them a call anyway. To my amazement someone picked up the phone and took our message. Around 8:00 am Pawlak returned our call and set up a time to come diagnose the problem later that morning. Mr. Pawlak was on time and systematically diagnosed the problem. He mentioned to me that the furnace was quite old but did not push a sales pitch on me. He told me how much the repair would be and I asked him what a new furnace would cost. He had materials for me to look at so that I could evaluate what options he had available and what the price would be. His prices were very reasonable as I confirmed later that afternoon by calling around. As we continued to talk I also asked him about updating our AC and condenser (also quite ancient) at the same time. Very patiently he used his materials to help me compare the options. My wife is an engineer that designs HVAC systems on commercial building. She commented that he knew his stuff and was very comfortable with his knowledge of systems. In addition to all of this we asked Mr. Pawlak if he would be able to move our condenser to a new location around the corner and if while the furnace was out he would be able to install a new hose valve in the garage located on the other side of the wall from the furnace. Our humidifier had broken several years back and we decided to also get it updated as well. Pawlak did all of the work I just described two days later. His crew was friendly and professional. They worked hard all day long at our house. The work looks great. They used high quality, new materials for the install. I will be recommending Pawlak's heating and cooling to everyone I know and I plan on using him for maintenance in the future.
