"It saddens me to see such a non factual review almost two years after the fact. Maybe [member name removed] forgets how empathetic she was to the fact my wife was hospitalized during her first trimester of our fourth child, maybe [member name removed] forgets the design was 90% completed before the winter and it was her tree mounts that were on back order and arrived in the middle of winter. Maybe [member name removed] forgets we allowed her to buy her own light fixtures and did not charge any extra's for rescheduling due to her shortcomings, maybe [member name removed] forgets she called the township to ensure my work was done correctly, Maybe [member name removed] didn't know the township complemented me on my design. Maybe [member name removed] forgets how cold the winter was and how snow was on the ground up until April of 2014. Maybe [member name removed] doesn't know its not a good idea to do landscape lighting in the winter due to obvious reasons. As far as pricing is concerned- we did not charge her any design fees, we gave her replacement bulbs for her well lights at no charge(25.00 each), and I never yelled at Ms Hurewitz, I was upset with one of my mechanics that did not give her factual information. Low Voltage lighting is only suppose to be buried 3''. If mulch is to be laid, we install our wires on the ground and instruct mulch to be put directly on wires, this allows for proper drainage. There was no additional charges for after hours visits to ensure the lighting design was installed correctly and accenting accordingly. If you added the hours spend on Ms Hurewitz's job, she received an incredible price I don't know what Ms Hurewitz is talking about when it comes to her neighbors, I talked to them and what they said I will keep private but I assure that it was not a negative comment towards me. I understand not all jobs can run smoothly, but we are honest at all times and strive to give the best quality work. I was completely taken by surprise with this review and saddened with the lack of factual information. Forgive me if I come off blunt, but I am a kind and compassionate individual that has feelings. I can only hope Ms Hurewitz finds happiness in ways other than slandering small Mom and pop companies like my own, we may pursue this further due to the lack of factual information"

When I saw water dripping from the ground line coming out of the basement service box I called Don on the basis of his Angies List review and two neighbors' enthusiastic recommendations. Was able to schedule him right away. Don's visual inspection of the outside meter socket revealed a hazardous situation involving arcing current and melting wire. Outside work needed to be halted until PECO could arrive and repair their equipment. We called at 11 am; PECO 's last of of three different crews finished their work around midnight. Don had a master electrician on-site the whole time. He worked with PECO to finish the work. Don came out a couple days later (on a Saturday) to inspect the work and label the circuits (his wife gave birth in the middle of all of this). I now have (what I didn't have before) a properly grounded, waterproofed, high quality 200 amp service panel and meter socket, professionally installed. Don and the three other members of his team were outstanding in their seriousness of purpose, professionalism and unwavering dedication to my problem. Given the overtime involved and hazardous situation he could have really jammed me on the price, but he didn't.
By the way, if you have "knob and tube" wiring I understand he is one of a very, very small number of pros who has the expertise and willingness to do the remediation.
He's a good man to do business with.
