We thought a breaker when out because the lights went out in only three rooms and only select outlets. We replaced the breaker ourselves with no luck. Turney responded to our call on a holiday weekend quickly and helped figure out the problem. He started with the basic problem solving and eventually went into the attic to trace wires through the walls to figure out what the problem was. While testing a powerstrip plugged into an outlet, the power was restored to the dark rooms and outlets. Here's where he went the extra mile. Most people would just say, "OK, problem solved. See ya later!" Especially on a holiday weekend. But Turney thought it was odd that a powerstrip triggered the breaker to trip. He pulled the furniture away from the outlet and took it apart to find out there were was a loose connection. This loose connection was a serious fire hazard! While he was talking to us I WE SAW A LITTLE AMBER OF FIRE in the outlet! He immediately put it out and replaced the outlet from supplies he had on hand. That outlet was behind a wooden dresser and next to a sleeping 3 month old baby! After the outlet was replaced, we realized that two light fixture had gone out. In the attempt to locate the outlets and lights that were out, some wires had become loose and had to be readjusted. While fixing those fixtures he updated some old out-of-code wiring that made everything safer. All the while he was very professional and friendly, explaining everything he was doing (most of which was over my head). He worked quickly and skillfully. I was so glad I called him!
