Kitchen City

They removed a wall and put a beam in. Working with Bill, the draftsman, I found him very knowledgeable in his work. I would have done a few things differently with my cabinets, but other than that I am very happy with the work. They made sure we were satisfied with the work and they were willing to accommodate. The workers were very respectful.

We purchased a discount kitchen from the outlet store. When we were installing it in our new home we needed some extra pieces to finish off our kitchen. Kitchen Citys price came out to be less than what Lowes and Home Depot were. The guys were very helpful in matching exactly and we think we received a better product than we would have from lowes.

They remodeled 2 bathrooms for us. We were very pleased with the first one they did, but ran into some problems with the second one. There was a measurment error that ended up causing some problems for us. Its nothing that anyone would notice offhand, but we notice it and it somewhat bothers us. However, they were very nice, and hardworking, and the appearance of the bathroom looks great.

It was a good estimate but it was just beyond my budget right now. They were very personable, nice, and they made some real good suggestions but I haven't had their service as far as any kitchen work done from them. He didn't come right away, I just talked to him in the store and he gets my name and number. I called him back a month later I haven't heard from them then he said that my name and number was misplaced and he apologize for that. I know other people had used them and they were very pleased with them. He seems very honest about what I could and couldn't do. He made suggestions that would benefit me more so than profit him. That's what I like him the best.

I would grade an "A" for everything for Kitchen City.

The experience with Kitchen City was good. We are using them because they are local. We had 2 other companies that gave us quotes and we chose them. Everybody gave us a good quote and they were all about the same. We just felt since they were a little more local they would be easier to work with. They are very professional and very knowledgeable. They probably won't start until the end of February or the beginning of March, once everything has been ordered.

I was very pleased with the whole process. During my first visit to their showroom, Bill carefully listened to my ideas and gave me invaluable information on materials and products which helped in choosing the cabinets, countertops, etc.. Rick Chiappetta, the owner, was very prompt in answering any questions. Both Rick and Bill made excellent suggestions on the design of the kitchen. The installers, Sam and Bryan, were professional, courteous, and made sure I was satisfied with the work. I especially appreciated Sam's suggestion that the ceiling light be moved so that it would be more centered in the new kitchen. They arrived as scheduled and completed the entire job as promised in two weeks. Since they have their own shop, my countertops were installed within days of the cabinet installation. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to any of my friends!
