They arrived on time but wasted most of the day standing around waiting for dirt to be delivered. originally it was to be delivered they day before installation but that changed to day of install. Once all the dirt arrived it was really close as far as having enough to complete the job. even the foreman on the job commented " Jim really cut this dirt short" The team then proceeded to apply the seed and straw. I watered faithfully for the next week or so until the grass started too sprout. Much to my disappointment it was not a "premium seed" It was as the workers referred to as "Jims Blend" It has some normal blue grass and then a lot of weed like grass. it is a mess. I called and Jim came out with a bunch of excuses but at the end of the day my new landscaping which cost 1,300 looks like a weed bed with grass here and there. I am so disappointed in the products and quality from gumpfs. Jim even said to me "maybe we will stop doing grass planting To late for me, I wish I would have used another local company who knows what they are doing,, uses quality products and stands behind the work. You will not get this with Gumpfs.

It's a yearly fee of about $325. We've been using them for a while before Angie's List. The price is fair.

GUMPF GARDENS HAS THE CAPACITY TO DO A LARGER PROJECT, WHILE MANY OTHERS DO NOT. THEY HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS A LONG TIME, AND THEIR EXPERIENCE IS VERY EVIDENT.
