Paid for a plumber and apprentice to fix leak from upstairs bathroom that was leaking through my kitchen ceiling. All he did was caulking around fixtures and said the leak was fixed. Apprentice did nothing. I ran up and down the steps turning the water on and off and carried a ladder from my garage for plumber to use while he tried to find the leak. Paid for services for plumber and $60 for apprentice who did nothing but stand around. Leak was not fixed and had to pay for the same service again. So much for guarantee of services! Never again.

I first called George in the summer about a A/C unit that was blowing hot air. It was 9pm on a Saturday. He showed up within a hour and had my A/C blowing cold air with in 10 minutes.
The second time I used him I found one of my hot water heaters were leaking. I called him on a Sunday night and informed him of the problem. He said he would be in the neighborhood tomorrow and would stop by saying he should be able to replace it by Tuesday.
Monday at 8:10am my wife calls to say George was there and that he had cancelled the other job for the day in order to do our hot water heater which he said was a priority. He replaced my heater with a larger one which was actually cheaper and spent hours running around town looking for a metal pan to put under the heater for me. He also replaced my broken thermostat and cleaned and serviced my A/C unit. In all he spent the better part of the day repairing things for me.
I would highly recommend him. I originally chose him due to the fact that he drove past my house, which I had just bought, and waved to me. That level of friendliness carries through into his work ethic. He has become my "go to guy"

I've used George's multiple times in my 100-year-old fixer-upper and now in my new 10-yr-old house. His plumbers have done everything from excavating sewage lines, replacing cast iron pipe, and fixing leaky steam heat. He is the most responsive contractor I've ever experienced and he talks straight. After a different contractor said my boiler needed repair I asked George to take a look. He said, "It kills me to say this but your boiler doesn't need repair." :) His prices are reasonable. His guys are polite and experienced. However if they ever encounter a tough problem - which isn't unusual in an old house - they don't hesitate to call George for advice. He is usually there in a very short period.
