They were everything we needed and more. Polite, efficient. Expert installation. they gave us exactly what we wanted. Perfect job. Attic lights. Under-Deck lights. And a socket replacement. A++ looking forward to having them come back to do another job.

Upgraded 100amp to 200, installed subpanel, added branch wiring to disconnect with full AC unit wiring. Added outdoor GFCI receptacle Handled electric switch over, regrounded house, fully inspected.

Was initially worried about that fact that this was such a small job that it would be hard to get the attention of a quality contractor.  Even though it was a small job, Tom Ahearn gave me the same attention that he has apparently given his other customers based on the other reviews here.  Tom was easy to talk to, responsive, and professional.  I will definitely use Ahearn Electric for future electrical needs and highly recommend him to anyone else.

From the first contact with Tom, he expressed knowledge and professionalism about what we wanted. We were unsure of what the rules are with regard to smoke alarms vs. carbon monoxide units. He worked with us to reduce the number truly needed, based on the description of required locations -- helped keep the cost down! He quoted a price and kept it! He also was good enough, when he arrived on time, to help us replace two dead bulbs in an overhad fixture that were extremely difficult to get out! He also was good enough to give us a quick review of the electrical system in the house to let us know that all was well! Definitely above and beyond the call of duty!
Tom was polite, got right to work, and very knowledgeable! We would definitely use him again and will do so when the need arises!

This was our first time working with Tom and we were glad we did. We will use him in the future.
